Silverlight Template Error - namespace / assembly

Hello,

I'm trying to use the Silverlight 2.0 API templates that ESRI provides but am getting namespace / assembly errors when I open the templates in both Visual Studio 2010 and Expression Blend 4.  I've attached two JPG files with the error messages (e.g., "The name "DropDownMenu" does not exist in the namespace "clr-namespace:ESRI.ArcGIS.SilverlightMapApp").  I have installed the Silverlight 4 Tools.  Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Oops...building the template fixes this. 😮

You're not the only one. Even though Blend shows a help message at the center of the screen, people have a tendency to focus on the errors at the bottom, instead of the large text.
