Silverlight 4 and 2.0 API problems

I have spent the last couple of days converting an app from SL3 to SL4.  I am having all kinds of problems with the design mode in VS 2010.  So I thought I would start with an ESRI template just to be sure something else isn't awry.  Unfortunately, I still can't see anything in design mode.  I have tried the Standard template and the Showcase template and both show nothing in design mode.  Now I am wondering if something went wrong with an install or if I possibly don't have something in VS configured correctly.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

A quick reference to  System.Windows.Controls.Data.Input.dll solved the problem for the templates.

Still having issues with my custom application - I will keep digging.
