Read and Write Annotations

Hi,

I want to read the annotations from database and let user add/edit annotations on the map. Does anybody share any idea on How to achieve this?

ArcGIS Server 10.0 only supports editing feature layers. Anything more than that would require a custom service, client code for talking to that service and doing the editing, and ArcObjects code on the server end.
