I have seen some apps around that had a couple images in a toolbar.  When you hover over the image it acts like a drop down box and has embedded tools in it (ie. measure, etc).  Does anyone know of any examples?  I found one on ESRI site but it was C+ and I am usign VB.

Thanks

If you start out with a new ESRI Silverlight Standard Map Template project in Visual Studio or Expression Blend, there is two such type of toolbars under the title box. You can copy that approach to your own toolbar.

Did you install the Blend SDK prior to installing the ArcGIS API ?
Get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=d197f51a-de07-4edf-9cba-1f1b4a22110d&dis...

(Note that this is not Blend, but just the SDK. You do get the SDK as part of Blend too though).

Yea but dont know when I installed it and in what order....didnt really find any documentation on install orders....seems like every turn I make I have to install more files or adding unknown resources....
So do I have to now uninstall everything and reinstall, if so whats the exact order to install?
In some order (cant remember) I installed: not installed in this order
Silverlight_4_Toolkit_April_2010.msi
SilverlightDeveloper.exe
Silverlight4_tools.exe
ArcGISSilverlightWPF20.exe
BlendSLSDK_en.msi
ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Toolkit.dll
ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Toolkit.xml

Just need to know what to do to get up an rolling again.....

Thanks

Just reinstall the ArcGIS Silverlight API. When you run the install, you should see an option to install the templates as well.
