I tried to follow the same steps as mentioned in the above url. It seems to be little strange when I select file option and try to point the zip file that I have downloaded it says it does not contain valid archived project. Can anybody help me please?
If you downloaded the source code from the ESRI link using Internet Explorer than the project archive(zip file) could be corrupted. Try re-downloading using Fire Fox or chrome.

Thank you very much. That problem is fixed.But I have a problem after building the project. When I run the application it says web page cannot be found. Before building the project it shows the url as http://localhost/flexviewer/index.html.
Mine is a laptop with Windows 7 and it has Apache server on this system. When I give flexbuild path as apache it does not accept. So I left it as C:\inetpub\wwwroot\flexviewer and built the flex project. And when I browse to the folder all files are sitting in this folder. I cannot browse with the url. What could be wrong with this? Is it associated with server?
Is there a guide to using the 2.0 BETA viewer? Maybe I'm being to impatient and need to wait for the full release? Thanks!

Please review the Concepts help doc on the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex Resource Center. Its contents is still in beta, but there is some useful information about the Viewer.
