I have searched the forums, but haven't had any luck finding anyone else with this problem. I am using version 10 (sp 1) and flex viewer (heavily modified) 2.3.
I have an app that allows users to select a (dynamic) map based on two choices (a combination of demographic and spending data) After the use makes a choice, I would like the legend to display the legend for the current map. Unfortunately, it is showing the legend of every map the user has loaded.
I have tried using the esri legend widget included with the viewer, and I have tried using the TOC/legend widget the R. Scheitlin has written. In both cases, I get the same results. With the TOC/legend widget, the TOC works great. It shows only the layers available with the currently selected map service, but the legend shows the legend of every map service accessed.
I am sure I am missing something very simple, I just can't figure out what it is.
Also, if this problem is already addressed somewhere, please let me know. I tried every combination of words to describe this problem, but can't find another thread that addresses it.
