bar graph for chart widget

I would like to modify the charting widget to change to chart type from pie to column as mentioned in http://forums.esri.com/Thread.asp?c=...=289432#900710.  However when I click on the text file that was provided in the thread, I get the attached message. Any suggestions on how I may obtain the contents of the desired text file?

Michael,

Just right-click on the file and choose "Edit" to actually open the xml file.  Notepad or WordPad both work fine, though I would recommend editing with Notepad++.   The reason you're getting that error message is because the comment "//" lines are not standard xml format so IE doesn't recognize them.
