I am teaching a GIS Tech class and we recently aquired a Sentera 4k crop sensor/camera for our Inspire 1. I am all new to this and so I am looking for recommendations for how to best present the data. For example, what information might be most useful for the farmer and what might be the best way to present to the students the capabilities of mapping in agriculture.

If anyone has experience using this sensor or maping with farmers, PLEASE CONTACT ME!!! I would love some help.

Hi Hayley,

What type of data or images does the product create?

A favorite is the ability to see the NDVI data that will inform the farmers of the heath of the crop and you can also create orthomaps and overlay them in ArcGIS Scene, with a topological layer to represent this in a 3D view.

you will probably need access to the ArcGIS Pro license and if your school has it, you can use Drone2Map
