This is a major issue, how to produce enough for the current population to sustain them, while planning for the future. Secondly, how to produce more on foresee ably less land, but do this with out putting peoples health at risk. The costs are going to go through the roof, and this ultimately comes back on the consumer. It is amazing what Geospatial Technology has done to assist the agricultural community answer or response to the current issues, from precision farming to planting certain crops in certain areas because of the climate issues within the region.
