Abstract submitted:
Construction of a tailings pond embankment is a high-risk endeavor that requires precision at all levels of the project, however during construction, quality control measurements to assess engineering properties of the soil are often recorded on paper and siloed. We deployed Collector for field data collection of quality control tests during construction to alleviate data silos, allow real time data access to stakeholders, and acquire structured data for seamless use in spatial analytics.
