Does anyone know the backgroud theory of the function "Create steepest path" of 3D analysis
i can't find any document from the help.
the reason why i need to know is because i found that when i use a GRID file (DEM) to create the path by those function, the results sometimes is different compare with by using fow direction (Arc-Hydro).
also i find that the vertices of steepest path created by those function is not along the center of the GRID, sometime is change direction within one cells
