i'm after a bit of advice. I'm currently working on a lengthy road scheme which requires me to establish where the road is visible from. I've got to create viewpoints every 200m along the length of the 75km stretch (which i've done), and then create sight lines from each of those points. I've done this, but wasn't sure what sample distance to use, i plumped for 50!! I've now got to create Lines of Sight along the sight lines but it is taking AGES - not surprising given the sheer number of data points needing to be analysed.
Is there anything i can do to speed up the process?? Would using a great sample distance help??
