I've problems with the "MULTIPOINT" option in arcpy.ASCII3DToFeatureClass_3d, it creates stranges results in the outgoing fc. See attached image in red there are squares create with the wrong hight information out of lidar vegetation (first pulse) data. In the image I analyse vegetation hight over 3m. If I use the "POINT" option the vegetation is correctly shown in the output raster data (black in the image).
What's wrong, can't you use "MULTIPOINT" with lidar data with a resolution of 8 points/m²? Is it a bug?
It takes very long time to process the data with the "POINT" option ...
