I'm using the las to multipoint tool. I'm specifiying that it should only take ground points (classification=2). By comparing the resulting multipoint layer to the las data as a las dataset, I can see that the multipoint layer does not contain all of the correct points.
The attached image shows the ground points with open circles in the LAS dataset. The dark blue points come from the multipoint layer after running "las to multipoint" tool.
Why is this behavior happening?
