I am working in a local Scene in ArcGIS Pro 3.3 where I have many 3D model markers (> 3000). The marker are a custom obj (pv modules) and the visualization is perfectly visible in the software. However, my goal is to export it to Unreal Engine 5 and to preserve structure and geometry of all features. The following workflows are not working:
- Layer 3D To Feature Class > Multipatch to Collada = > 3000 single dae,kml... files
- Adding column FCODE to the layer > Layer 3D To Feature Class with Grouping field FCODE = ERROR 999999: Something unexpected caused the tool to fail. Contact Esri Technical Support (http://esriurl.com/support) to Report a Bug, and refer to the error help for potential solutions or workarounds.
- Layer 3D To Feature Class > Export 3D Objects with Output File Name Field = > 3000 folders with single features
- Quick Export (obj, fbx) = exported file appears to be empty in blender
- Dissolve > Layer 3D To Feature Class = empty layer without attributes
- Export to CAD = opened in CAD only circles are visible (no 3D data)
