I am trying to do something which would seem simple, but for some reason in ArcScene is not.
I have a stream, a polyline. I want to animate it so that the stream flows, from one end to the other. I have tried "moving an object along a path" and other similar items in ArcScene in ArcGIS 10 and in 9.3.1, but the best I can do is get the whole shapefile to "wobble" around. I could try a "track" but there's nothing that seems to relate it to how the line is shaped. I doubt a lot of keyframes work either.
It should seem so simple, but none of the ESRI help stuff works. I have tried Googling all sorts of relevant terms but no luck either.
