Josh, Thanks for the reply. As you point out it looks like my issue has to do with the GetUser() function not being available on the Portal version I am using. I tested it on a newer instance of portal and found that is available there. Thanks,

How come using the Arcade function GetUser() in a WebMap popup expression I get the following error when testing the expression: Execution Error:Runtime Error: Function Not Found: GetUser See the function reference here: https://developers.arcgis.com/arcade/function-reference/portal_functions/#getuser I thought one of the cool things about Arcade was that the same code could be used in both desktop and web apps? Thanks,

I am seeing the dame as MaiSwasdichira The Arcade option is available in AGOL to calculate field values for hosted feature layers but NOT in Portal. Does anyone know if this is just the way it is...?

I have a feature layer with a one-to-many relationship with 20 other feature layers. I can check the "Show related data" checkbox in my WebMap popup configuration for this layer to see all of the related features. My issue is that in many cases there are only related records in 2 or 3 of the other feature layers, but using the "Show related data" checkbox returns an item in my popup for all 20 related layers regardless of whether or not that layer has any related features. Through a combination of Attribute Expressions in Arcade I am able to configure a popup that will only return feature attribute info from the layers with related features. It requires creating 40 separate attribute expressions and it only returns a string for each to use in the popup. So may question is whether there is some way I can return an actual FeatureSet from my arcade expression to the popup config and use it to basically recreate the functionality that is available when checking "Show related data" (basically returning a list of the actual features to the popup that can be selected, zoomed to, etc.). When I return a FeatureSet from my arcade expression my popup simply says "No information available". Thanks, Randy

It just started working for me the way I had it written. Could be it was only not updating the layers when I was debugging in VSCode, but I could swear I had tested it from within AGPro as well. Thanks for your help!

Here is a bit more of the code: import sys, string, os, arcpy, time from arcpy import env, mp aprx = mp.ArcGISProject(aprxPath) aprxMap = aprx.listMaps()[0] for layer in aprxMap.listLayers(): if layer.name == 'myLayer': aprxMap.removeLayer(layer) aprx.save()

ArcGIS Pro 2.8.3 The following lines seem to "technically" remove a layer from my map and save the project, but I still see the layer in the contents of my map until I close the project and re-open it. Do I need to refresh the contents somehow? Thanks, aprxMap.removeLayer(layer) aprx.save()

I have created a geoprocessing service from the results of a Grouping Analysis (new at 10.1). I included a result map serivce in my gp service, but I have not been able to get it to show up in my web app. I can take the url built using the jobid and paste it into a web browser and see the map service, so I know it is being created. The code from my geoprocesser' jobComplete handler is below. Any help? Thanks, Randy private function gp_jobCompleteHandler(event:GeoprocessorEvent):void
{
if (event.jobInfo.jobStatus == JobInfo.STATUS_SUCCEEDED)
{
gp.getResultData(gp.submitJobLastResult.jobId, "Output_Feature_Class");
var resultMapUrl : String = "http://localhost:6080/arcgis/rest/services/GroupingAnalysis_102100_2/MapServer/jobs/" + event.jobInfo.jobId;
var resultMapServiceLayer : ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer = new ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer(resultMapUrl);
//resultMapServiceLayer.id = "gpLayerResult";
resultMapServiceLayer.visibleLayers = new ArrayList(['0']);
map.addLayer(resultMapServiceLayer);
}
else
{
showErrorMessage(event.jobInfo.jobStatus);
CursorManager.removeBusyCursor();
}

Michael, I put the following in the the initialized event for the GeoRSS layer. I set the GeoRSS layer visible property to "False" and added another Graphics layer ("TransformLayer") to hold the converted points. It works, but I am wondering if there is a simpler solution, maybe a method to grab the points directly from the RSS feed without having to add the service as a hidden layer (although maybe that is not a problem, I don't know -- I have about 2 days experience with the ArcGIS siliverlight API): Private Sub GeoRSS_Initailized(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As EventArgs) Dim tranGraphic As ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Graphic = Nothing Dim tansformLayer As ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.GraphicsLayer = TryCast(MyMap.Layers("TransformLayer"), GraphicsLayer) Dim mapPt As ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Geometry.MapPoint = Nothing Dim transformPt As ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Geometry.MapPoint = Nothing Dim grLayer As ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.GraphicsLayer = TryCast(sender, ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.GraphicsLayer) For Each graphic As ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Graphic In grLayer.Graphics If TypeOf graphic.Geometry Is ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Geometry.MapPoint Then mapPt = graphic.Geometry transformPt = ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Bing.Transform.GeographicToWebMercator(mapPt) tranGraphic = New ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Graphic() tranGraphic.Geometry = transformPt tansformLayer.Graphics.Add(tranGraphic) End If Next (graphic) End Sub
