Hi Tim, I do not remember if the point snapping button was on. I just tried the snapping in pixel mode with the point setting “on” and it worked. I may have had point setting ”off” and vertex setting “on” when I tried the pixel mode, Both Map Unit and Pixel settings snap with the point button on. I got mixed up with selecting points versus vertex. I understand it better. Margaret

Hi Tim, Thanks for your response. I went back to check my xy tolerance under snapping settings. and switched to map units from pixels. The Ground to Grid and the tool snapped perfectly to my section corner points. Margaret

Hi...I installed the ArcPRO 2.3 and used the Ground to Grid tool. Great, and happy to see that that function is also included in the HELP menu. My only problem, which is a real problem for me, is when I apply the enter ground line and digitize the grid line option, my pointer will not snap to my ground control points. I have engaged the snapping tool in the edit ribbon and also the list of snapping function in the Contents menu. Was this overlooked or am I missing an action I need to engage? Thanks, Margaret

Most times I do not FINISH a traverse to a version or non-versioned data when I have not completed entering a legal description by the end of the day. So, I save the traverse and load it back into the Traverse function the next day and pick up where I left off. I always snapshot the ground to grid ratio and keep with the traverse text file for future reference. BTW, after entering in a traverse in ArcPRO, I right click the mouse and do not get an option to save or load a traverse. So, for now, I have to do my traversing with ground to grid values in ArcMAP, then I finish other edits (except for annotation) in ArcPRO so I maintain my ArcPRO skill level.

Here is the link describing the ground to grid correction for ArcMap. I need to be able to do this for ArcPRO http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.3/manage-data/creating-new-features/about-applying-a-ground-to-grid-correction.htm

Hi Dan. I do the COGO Traverse after I use the ground to grid correction; tool in ArcMap. I have attached the Gis Desktop Help Descrition of the tools I use to apply the ground\-to-grid ratio to my GOCO traverse. It will adjust the a survey'd Plat's ground direction and distance to a grid (projected) direction and distance. I appreciate your link, but I could not find my answer in that description and all other related links to that page.

I am editing in ArcPRO and I want to apply a ground to grid correction to an arcs feature class. I am able to do this function in ArcMap with the Ground to Grid Correction tool, but I have yet to find the appropriate buzz words in Help to find this tool in ArcPRO. Also, is there a COGO report tool in ArcPRO like there is in ArcMap? I'd rather not have to open up ArcMap to run these tools. A jpg identifying the tools in question is attached. Thanks, Margaret

Of course. What a bummer and not at all convenient because I do view PDFs quite a bit when I have ArcPRO open and editing. I have to keep Desktop ArcCatalog or file explorer open to have these PDFs readily available for viewing. I just took the ArcPRO course last month at ESRI, so I am still in that learning curve, but I am now using it pretty much full time. I do have to open up ArcMap to edit SDE geodatabase annotation. I will have to wait until all staff are using ArcPRO in order to upgrade the annotation (at least that is what I could figure out from the HELP notes). I have no idea when all staff will be using PRO. Thanks, Dan.

How do I view PDFs located in an ArcPro Catalog folder. In the past, I would add a pdf file type in the Customize/ArcCatalog Options selections. But I have yet to find this option in ArcPro's Catalog Pane. Is this an available feature. Can I select pdfs to open while in ArcPro's Catalog folder?
