When I run that all I get is: "arcgispro-py3" is already the active environment.

Still a no-go unfortunately. Followed all of the steps, so still no idea whats causing the geoprocessing tools to fail.

Wasn't able to use the CP to uninstall the API, and unfortunately uninstalling/reinstalling the entire program didn't work either. But I agree it must have been the API install- could be a conflict with a package in the env (see below)

I didn't think I installed any packages prior to updating to 1.3.1, but here is the list: [arcgispro-py3] C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3>conda list # packages in environment at C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgisp ro-py3: # arcgispro 1.3 1 http://twofish/win- 64/arcgispro-1.3-1.tar.bz2 colorama 0.3.6 py34_0 defaults future 0.15.2 py34_0 defaults matplotlib 1.4.3 np19py34_0 defaults msvc_runtime 1.0.1 vc10_0 [vc10] defaults nose 1.3.7 py34_0 defaults numpy 1.9.3 py34_0e [arcgispro] esri openssl 1.0.2h vc10_0 [vc10] defaults pandas 0.17.1 np19py34_0 esri pip 8.1.1 py34_1 defaults py 1.4.31 py34_0 defaults pyparsing 2.1.1 py34_0 defaults pypdf2 1.25.1 py_0 esri pytest 2.9.1 py34_0 defaults python 3.4.4 4 defaults python-dateutil 2.5.3 py34_0 defaults pytz 2016.4 py34_0 defaults requests 2.9.1 py34_0 defaults scipy 0.16.1 np19py34_0e [arcgispro] esri setuptools 20.7.0 py34_0 defaults six 1.10.0 py34_0 defaults sympy 0.7.6.1 py34_0 defaults vs2010_runtime 10.00.40219.1 0 defaults wheel 0.29.0 py34_0 defaults xlrd 0.9.4 py34_0 defaults xlwt 1.0.0 py34_0 defaults

I tried running the reverse of how i installed the API, that is conda uninstall -c esri arcgis but that didn't work either. Did you mean to uninstall Pro completely?

Whenever I attempt to use a geoprocessing tool I get an error saying "Tool has failed to open". For example, when I attempt to run the excel to table tool, this comes up Not sure if a path is broken or what, but it is incredibly frustrating. When I try to run the tool in the Python window, Pro crashes.

Unfortunately, that didn't work for me either. I attempted using all of the other interpreter options as well, but the same syntax error kept coming up. I'll have to write a bug.

I am trying to do a simple workbench transformation of a Sketchup file to feature class, but I keep getting the same error in the translation log: Created and connected to the ArcGIS 10.0 File Geodatabase at 'C:\Users\cblankins\Desktop\3dExamples\ATTEMPT.gdb' File "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\lib\site.py", line 176 file=sys.stderr) ^ SyntaxError: invalid syntax I realize this isn't a very specific error, but it looks it's occurring with a python file installed alongside Pro. I've ran similar tools in the past and never come across this error. I've attached the fmw and sketchup files for reference.

I currently have two layers: building footprints and First Return lidar data. I was able to extract individual building parts through reclassification, but the output-polygon is too pixel-like because of the DWG resolution. Any ideas on how I can simplify the output to create smooth vector features (i.e. w/ generalized lines and right angles)? I have tried using the 'Regularize Building Footprint' gdp tool, but it does not handle topological errors. I have also tried using the 'Simplify Polygon' tool, but i ends up creating wacky angles.

I found a workaround by exporting the layer to a shapefile since shapefiles do not support layer texturing.

I'm currently using 10.4 & Pro. From what I understand, this is only possible through use of a CAD object, but I have no idea what this entails. This question continues the conversation in this thread: https//geonet.esri.com/message/622754?et=watches.email.thread#comment-622754
