A new Community Maps data prep tool is available for those contributing Road Centerline features.  This tool will convert your road polyline features and attributes to the Community Maps model so your roads can be used in the World Topographic Basemap.

About the Author
I am a Cartographic Specialist for Esri's ArcGIS Content Team. I acquire, curate and recruit content for the ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World through Community Maps. Prior to coming on board with Esri, I worked as a Production Cartographer and Product Manager for National Geographic Maps for 12 years. I have also worked for the Geohazards Division of the USGS at the National Earthquake Information Center and as a Geographer with local government.
