I'm new to custom extensions and have a question for planning purposes. I plan to add a custom extension to a Feature Class and want to allow desktop access. If I use a direct connection to SDE, does the extension need to exist only on the database server or on each client desktop? Also, if I publish as a service, will it work if the extension is registered on the server?

I have a GDB copy utility that copies datasets from one GBD to another using the GeoDBDataTransfer.Transfer() method. One GDB approximately 9GB in size transfers correctly, while another that is just over 10 GB becomes unresponsive and hangs. Are there any known size limitations? I'm also curious if anyone has experience breaking up a Transfer operation into multiple pieces...

In ArcObjects using Engine it is simple to access basic directly connected feature information by casting an IRow instance to IJunctionFeature or IEdgeFeature. I can't find any equivalents in the Runtime API. It looks to me like it may be possible to use Geoprocessing Tasks, but this would require a higher level of client licensing than what we currently require and would seem to be overkill compared to what is very simply done in ArcObjects. Is there any equivalent in Runtime API I may have missed? If not, will these interfaces (or similar) be included in Runtime for .Net? Thank You

Does the Runtime for WPF API have functionality equivalent to the Standard Labeling Engine available in ArcObjects? I am building an application that does not use the Runtime Map control for rendering and needs to generate feature labels within a given extent. Any suggestions?

I installed the latest version 10.1.1 of the Runtime for WPF SDK with the IDE Integration component. When I create a Visual Studio 2010 project, I don't see any of the WPF project templates. I've tried looking for them manually but haven't been able to locate them. Is there a known issue with this or a place I can download them explicitly?
