I think I see what you are saying @OlyPowers When you create or save a dashboard using the latest Dashboard, https://www.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards you will no longer be able to open that dashboard using the Classic application, https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard These are two separate applications. The latest Dashboards will be able to open and edit older dashboards, but you won't be able to use the older application to open newer dashboards. I hope that clarified things? I am doing my best to understand the problem you are raising!

Hello, We have a known limitation where map services cannot be used to perform filter actions in grouped value charts. We are working on a fix, but it didn't make it into the latest release. As the other user mentioned, we just came out of beta, so accessing Dashboards from your content page now point to the new dashboards. Can you let me know if there is a difference between opening the dashboard from the following two locations? https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/home vs https://www.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards I am suspecting you are using a map service for your chart. We have known limitations with map services taking part in filtering other elements (like the map).

Hello, I am going to guess you are using ArcGIS Dashboards from within ArcGIS Enterprise. Is that correct? If so, what version of enterprise? I suggest reaching out to Esri support if this is an enterprise issue.

Hello! We did remove the share link from within a Dashboard. If you would like to embed a Dashboard inside Experience Builder, you can simply copy/paste the url in your browser and that should work for you. You don't need to do the following, but If you really want to get a short link, you can actually go to https://bitly.com/ and copy/paste your Dashboard url in there and it should work.

I think something is wrong with this web page outside of there being a Dashboard in it. When clicking around on the page, I am repeatably getting that error message. I was able to see the Dashboard, so I don't think there is anything preventing the dashboard from being embedded. See screenshot below. iPhone X iOS 14.4 Safari

Sorry about that Will! I got too focused and wasn't reading as clearly as I could have. I think I understand now. You are seeing additional polygon features selected around the the spatially filtered polygon boundary. I believe this is caused by the polygons having overlapping features. By default, the spatial selection does an INTERSECT, so even if the boundaries are overlapping by just a few pixels, it will be captured. We have open enhancements to include additional operators such as 'completely contains' which I think would solve this issue. A workaround would be to set up a foreign/primary key between these two polygon layers and use field filtering instead of spatial filtering. Are we on the same page now?

Hey Will Atkin. I think this is a bit of an optical illusion. I can also reproduce this in the map viewer. If you zoom in, it shows that these points are actually inside the polygon I suggest you reach out to the Map Viewer Beta forum as this is an issue that would be solved on their end if they address it. From my assessment, the points are in the right place, but they could visually be placed in a better spot at smaller scales.

Hey Brian. There is also this issue, BUG-000126814 that will be fixed in 10.8.1. That one specifically mentions the 30 min time window + sign in prompt. "In Portal for ArcGIS configured with IWA, Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS using a web map with a refresh interval greater than 30 minutes configured for a layer results in an authentication prompt after the expiration of the refresh interval." I am pretty certain that the fix we put in should address what you are seeing. There was a bug that caused several side effects causing the waterfall of IWA issues. Basically, all of these issues have the same root cause.

Hey Tom, Just wanted to jump in here with some thoughts. Is your Enterprise portal protected by Web Tier authentication (like PKI, IWA, SAML)? If so, we had several bugs with that sign in prompt coming up unnecessarily. We have just fixed the issues, but they will only be going into 10.8.1 If you are indeed using web tier authentication, you might want to chat with Brian in this thread: https://community.esri.com/thread/245429-ops-dashboard-token-expiration It sounds like he has some temporary solutions that might help you with this. If at all possible, I would try to hold on until your organization can upgrade to 10.8.1 and then see if that resolves the issue. -John
