Sedgwick County KS, also waiting until this bug is fixed. I updated, now it is Pro 3.0.2 and Parcel Fabric 5. In the Point layer, I set all the two fields, IsFixed and Preserve to 'Yes' and Adjustment Constrained to 'XYZ constrained'. Still, our GPS collected section corner points could be moved (or deleted) if I accidentally chose a vertex nearby with the GPS section corner point and the vertex point to preserve in the Merge Point Quality tool.

By choosing 'separate lines' when parallel line was created, at the end it created points at wanted location. I think it is better to choose create single line, then build will create points over the exact intersection points of the parcel lines and new easement polygon. Just a thought. Thanks for the Videos you are publishing to us.

Thank you for responding to my GeoNet question. I am still having this issue with this project. I was using this tool successfully at the beginning in this project. Answers are: what version of pro you are using? – 2.6.2 What is the data source (file geodatabase or feature service) – We are still testing (researching) Parcel Fabric adaptability for the County’s GIS services department, so it is in a file geodatabase for the time being. Is this consistently reproducible on the same data or data outside a parcel fabric? I tested the same data in the same project this morning too . Same issue, Plenaries tool was giving the same error. Soon after this email I will test with a new project and the same data. Then New Project with new data in different file geodatabase. I will let you know the result. In the meantime if you want me to share my screen for you to see the error, please let me know. Thanks again Mahinda Abeykoon, GISP Sr. GIS Analyst, GIS Services, Information Technology Services, Sedgwick County, 271 W. 3rd St. N, Suite 602, Wichita, KS 67202 (316) 660-9292, mahinda.abeykoon@sedgwick.gov<mailto:mahinda.abeykoon@sedgwick.gov>

I am testing Parcel fabric with County data. I used 'Planarize tool' to split lines at intersections. It shoots an error "Unable to planarize. Only simple features can be processed.' I have been using the same tool with same data before. Now cannot. Do you know why?

When I reconcile and post was done through a python script this error came up. ERROR 000084: Conflicts detected, aborting the reconcile. I had the same issue when I wanted to copy/paste point features from two different feature classes (parcPoint_5 and parcPoint_6) to one feature class (parcPoint5_6). I added all three to a Pro project map through Add Data tool. First, I left click one feature class and selected all features and in Edit menu copied to clipboard. Then I found ‘Past’ dropdown arrow is grayed out, no ‘Paste Special’ tool. When I pasted it simply add a same layer again to the map. (I think Pro is designed this way to protect data.) Second, I selected all features with the Select arrow of the edit Manu, and copied to clipboard. I found dropdown arrow activated. However when I try to past it to the new layer, with Past Special tool, error window popped up ‘This data is currently locked by another user, cannot be saved. Then through Pro database connection I add the database to the catalog and moved the data set with three feature classes to the ArcPro project’s default database. Removed the three feature classes from the map and drag and dropped three feature classes from the project’s default database connection. Since then copy paste all worked fine in the Edit menu tools. Hope this helps!

I managed to get GDBT tools to ArcGIS 10.5.1 arc catalog. In this help tread what is missing, is download link of GDBT tool .exe file. I found already downloaded exe file in one of our archived folders in 2015. So I installed successfully Thank You. All the Esri links for download it came up with error 4o4 page not found. Thanks Jorge! Mahinda Abeykoon

Okay guys, I completed tests with 2 TB of raster data. Work around for backward compatibility of Raster Mosaic Dataset (RMD) is possible and resulting output is only for viewing RMD in both ArcGIS 10.3 and 10.5. No raster edit or cannot run raster functions in previous ArcGIS. I did it through following steps. Exported the dbtune file from 10.5.1 database and change “ RASTER_STORAGE" from "RASTERBLOB" to “BINARY”. Then import it to the 10.5.1 database. I noticed raster storage is in binary by default If database is upgraded to geodatabase in ArcGIS 10.5.1. if this is the case no need to edit dbtune file. Stored all the raster TIF files in a location where both databases, ArcGIS 10.3.1 and ArcGIS 10.5.1 installed servers can access. Create RMD first in ArcGIS 10.3.1 geodatabase, and load raster and define and create overviews using full name path (UNC), not drive mapping path. Copy from 10.3.1 and paste to ArcGIS 10.5.1 geodatabase. Create a connection to this 10.5.1 geodatabase in the computer with ArcGIS 10.3.1. You will be able to view the raster mosaic data set in ArcGIS 10.3.1. and also in ArcGIS 10.5.1 Unfortunately, if you do not have Raster Extension you will not be able to publish these mosaic datasets.

I am also doing lots of testing on creating ARM in 10.5.1 and using them in 10.3.1. before we convert our 2 TB raster datasets to ARM. I did the same steps Mark did, except I edited MinPS and other fields in ArcGIS 10.3.1. version. I was able to read it in ArcGIS 10.3.1 and also I was able to read it in ArcGIS 10.5.1. If ARM are built in ArcGIS 10.5 + versions, ESRI confirms 'no backward compatibility', prior versions cannot read them. As per my tests so far, If you need to work with all the versions, create them in 10.3.1. and edit them in 10.3.1. ArcGIS 10.5.1. You may miss advanced raster functionality in 10.5.1. Thanks!

Thank You, You understood it correctly. This is exactly what I wanted him too to understand. Our raster data is currently in Raster Dataset consuming 2 TB of space in SQL server. They were created in ArcGIS 10.3.1. Now we are upgrading to 10.5.1 and SQL 2016. I am creating Raster Mosaic. I will test this issue and post my result soon. Thank you Kathleen again. Mahidna

I am also going to create Raster Mosaic for all of our existing Raster Dataset. Have you configured DBTUNE file before you create Raster Mosaic in 10.5.1? This is ESRI guidelines. "Starting at ArcGIS Desktop 10.5, mosaic datasets created in Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server geodatabases will be created with the new RASTER_STORAGE keyword called RASTERBLOB. The RASTERBLOB keyword implements an efficient transfer of the mosaic dataset catalog items to the DBMS. Mosaic datasets created with RASTERBLOB cannot be opened with earlier versions of the software. If you want to create mosaic datasets that are backward compatible with earlier versions, you will need to alter the configuration keyword for RASTER_STORAGE to one of the following compatible keywords: BINARY for PostgreSQL and SQL Server BLOB for Oracle."

Vince, I was using your instructions to create a SDE View from one to many relationship Feature classes posted on http://forums.esri.com/Thread.asp?c=158&f=2284&t=279941. It worked well. I just want to thank you and ESRI forthis help, saving our time and hardships. Mahinda
