Submitted a case to Esri, they already have it logged as BUG-000104430 which was originally logged on 4/10/2017. Let's hope for a fix in the December update! Though not the exact same use case, if you can, give the Dashboard Theme with the Infographic widget a try - their best attempt at charts and graphics yet.

The WAB Infographic Widget (introduced with the Dashboard theme) has the ability to highlight features on the map when you hover over different portions of the graphic i.e. with a pie chart, you can mouse/hover over a portion of the pie chart to highlight those features on the map. It would be a GREAT addition to also allow a user to open these same features in the Attribute Table from the chart/widget. Users don't only want to see graphics of information, they also need to view and work with the data being summarized by these great charts. Thanks,

In short - Support walked me through a full disaster recovery workflow to restore the Server installation to operation... Not ideal but it resolved the issue. Seems to be quite the critical error for a straight forward upgrade process.

Great to see there is something on the internet that even references this issue! Unfortunately, I am attempting to do the same with 10.5.1 from 10.4.1 and there are only 2 choices to navigate to on the admin endpoint, upgrade and REST... no security option Do you know of another way to change this setting? UPDATE: I tried to do as your post suggested and stop IIS Service completely and run the update - same outcome. Esri upgrades somehow always seem to be a 50/50 chance of ruining your day! ha Waiting for a response from Esri as well... Thanks,

It would be essential to include the Attribute Table as a widget that is addable to the Dashboard Theme panels. This may take some work to get the Attribute Table to resize appropriately as the panels are very malleable themselves, but the Attribute Table already does this to an extent as is in the app with other widgets as in the Jewelry Box theme having the ability to resize on both the x and y axis with ease. This would also allow for it to be removed from it's clunky and awkward placement at the bottom of the app UI in this theme so when you open it, it doesn't simply cover up everything in the app. This is a big one for our users! Thanks,

In the WAB Dashboard Theme, the ability to Maximize the configurable panels exists, but not the ability to minimize. Please add this functionality!! Thanks,

Completely agree! I have a similar suggestion regarding the new WAB Dashboard Theme Infographic highlight symbology. Definitely any interaction that triggers objects to highlight on the map need configurable settings for said highlight effect. More so, a web map or app should have settings to universally control the default highlight symbology unless otherwise set in another widget.

In the NEW WAB Dashboard Theme are Infographic widgets. These widgets have interactive charts that allow the user to mouse over the chart segments and the related features on the map to highlight accordingly. Great feature BUT... currently the highlight symbology defaults to the faint Esri teal outline while at the same time turning the fill of the polygon's hallow, thus creating an almost un-selected/highlighted appearance. Polygons on a map when highlighted to make them stand out should most definitely NEVER have their fill turned hallow... they essentially disappear and make all the other features pop more. Quite the opposite effect. Adding the ability to control the highlighting symbology effect would be a significant improvement here. Otherwise great work on this theme! Thanks,

Tred Riggs Are you adding these new fields/features to an Enterprise AGS service or from a service hosted in AGOL? Regardless, having to rebuild an entire WAB app to accommodate schema changes in a feature layer doesn't seem right. We deal with a lot of schema changes yet the most we ever need to do is update the pop-up content in the web map and re-seat the Attribute Table in WAB. I may be missing your point altogether but you definitely shouldn't ever need to scrap and rebuild a WAB app almost ever, let alone for schema changes. Should be a better way

This is a must have - the Visualization tab on the Item Details page did help by being able to set a default in advance for all uses of the layer moving forward, but still even there there's no easy, time-effective means of managing this important feature.

Adding the ability to move multiple fields at once up and down as well as the option to move to top/bottom would be an a huge improvement here. Currently the process of moving a single field 1 position at a time renders the process inefficient and nearly a bugged process i.e. moving a field to fast or even upon first move the field un-selects itself or the interface bugs out completely and you have to close/re-open the interface.
