The referenced article will work for some, but in an enterprise environment such as mine, it would be discouraged if not prohibited. So the question is, when will the patch that will fix the bug be released? By way of commentary, it would also be helpful to release announcements to customers of issues such as this, so that we don't have to waste hours of our time trying to figure out why Arc Monitor is not accessible after following the documentation's instructions.

Hi Evan, Where is the config store that you are referring to in your response? "the fastest way to recover from that scenario is to navigate into the config store and delete the PFX file living under the SSL directory." Need some details here in order to try out your proposed solution.

Robert, Great news. I'll have a look at the 1.7 version and if there are any issues I'll wait for the 1.9 version. Many thanks for this and for all of your input and contributions. Jim Faron

Hi Robert, This is a fine widget, but I wonder if there is an esri bug or limitation at work in the following behavior: when I select a feature (in my implementation of this widget as well as your sample), and then reload the browser without deselecting the feature in the current session, it returns to the selection on reload, and the map centers on the selection. In my implementation I implemented jimuMapView.clearSelectedFeatures();, and that will clear any selection on map load, but the application still centers at the now prior selection. I have tried various ways to use jimuMapView.view.goTo, which will work if there is no prior selection, but if there is a prior selection, the map will still center at that location (it seems to be the last event in the widget's loading). I can't seem to stop that behavior in that instance of a reload. Perhaps if I could get it to clear the selected feature when the application closes, that might do the trick, but I can't seem to accomplish that (even after following some of what you initially did in this thread). Can this be corrected in your opinion? It is not a big deal, but it is slightly disorienting when it happens, particularly if the view covers a wide area. I hope it is something simple that I am missing. Thanks, Jim Faron

I guess the lack of response to the question regarding the prognosis for a fix means that it is not in Ersi's plans to fix this, at least in the near term, which seems odd because it was working in prior releases, which means that this is not an enhancement request. It's hard to explain this to users who are counting on a functionality that they were successfully using until they dutifully upgrade the application.

Zach, Thank you for the response. It is as you say: there are a lot of relevant questions in this survey, and the data that is not coming through is based on an answer to a relevant question, which is itself a relevant question. What is peculiar is that it was working in an earlier version of the survey123 app (we've been using this survey for a couple of years now). I can send you the XLSForm and URL scheme in a private channel if it still might be useful to you. Otherwise, do you have a prognosis as to when we can expect a fix for this? Thank you, James Faron

Just an update that BUG-000147388 (Prepopulating answers through a custom URL doesn’t work in Survey123 Field App when the questions have a relevant statement) does not seem to be fixed on the latest version of the Survey123 field app after upgrading from 3.14. Survey123 Connect upgraded to 3.15.165, and Survey123 field app upgraded to 3.15.145. This is for ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1. I logged this with technical support, but I've banging this around for a couple of days now as well. Any advice, confirmation, and prognosis from the Survey123 team would be greatly appreciated!

Perhaps it would be helpful to distinguish between the online version of Survey123 and ArcGIS Enterprise when working through bugs such as this?

I agree, the new Portal home page setup and options is a big step back, and essentially unacceptable, and the approach to changing it is heavy handed. It's always better to give your customers options as opposed to deadlines.

Robert, I only have an iPad Pro to work with at the moment, and the issue that you mentioned does not occur. In fact that screen size does not use the mobile interface, thus is identical to large screen or laptop UI. Did you find a work-around for the issue you describe on the smaller iPad, in case I run into it? Thanks, James Faron

Robert, I haven't run into that one yet, but I will test today. The only user input I have in this particular app is for address in the search bar. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks, James Faron

Landscape mode on mobile phones, even as large as Samsung Note 9, falls apart visually. It makes sense considering the UI in Experience Builder only covers portrait screen sizes for mobile devices. I can live with iPad results I guess, but the mobile phone "experience" is not good in this instance. It is hard to configure what happens between portrait and landscape on mobile, but Experience Builder is presented as having a "mobile first" or at least "mobile ready" design, thus my initial disappointment. I guess I can dig into the configuration and the css to try to create a compromise. I am finding however that it is probably easier to develop a solution using the the 4.x JavaScript with the Calcite UI in some if not most instances. Thanks, James Faron

After having put much time and effort into an experience builder project in Dev edition, I have come to find that there are no accommodations in the mobile configuration for landscape mode. Am I missing something, or is landscape mode not supported? If not, why not? Or is there a work-around? I saw a post related to this from last summer, so I'm not optimistic, but thought I would check. Thanks, James Faron
