Hi all, so I'm trying to create 3D features based on floorplans for an interactive map, and I've found that the way the features are extruded is inconsistent. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the basemap of the local scene being rather hilly, so then all 3D objects are extruded from that, which causes the inconsistency. Here is a picture of what I'm talking about: So the pillars here are all selected and being extruded based on the "RM_HT" attribute, using the Max Height Type. As you can see, they vary in length, some extruding above the floor (Which is set to RM_HT of 30), and some sinking below it. I had prior difficulties with this specific piece of land earlier as setting the RM_HT of the floor below 30 caused a lot of clipping with the basemap. Again, the hill. So, how might I go about getting these pillars to render at the same height? I feel like I basically need an invisible level floor from which the pillars can extend, not from the basemap. Thought as to how I might be able to accomplish this? Feel free to play around with the map yourself: https://arcg.is/0Te90i

Hi everyone, I've been working with a local city bureau here in Portland to convert their 2D floorplan GIS features into a 3D web environment. I've been able to do this to some extent with scenes in ArcGIS Online. However one specific feature is very distorted. You can see the map at https://portlandcc.maps.arcgis.com/home/webscene/viewer.html?webscene=3c31d7d5e4c94a6b8b371ee1c7726bea . Search for "Chimney Park Portland" to see the building and with only Level_B_3D turned on (this is the basement layer) to see what I am talking about. Additionally, here is a picture of the building in the map viewer: This is something many of the buildings did before I raised the elevation of the basement floor by 10 ft (with each level building off that height, so 20 ft for level 1, 30 ft for level 2, etc). This is the only feature that still clips, and boy does it! I don't really want to have to raise the floor elevation anymore than I have to, so does anyone have any advice on what is happening here? As far as I know, this park is pretty flat too, so I don't see why it should be clipping more than others.

Hi Dan, thanks for the reply. Do you know why the Extrusion fields might be grayed out/inaccessible to me?

Hi all. I'm partaking in a research project where I was given a 2D building floor plan (itself in geodatabase), with the intention that I visualize it in a 3D web environment. I'm fielding suggestions for how I might do this, either using ESRI software or otherwise? I was on a promising path with ESRI Space Planner before my contacts in the organization I'm doing this project with told me they couldn't go down that route because they weren't using AutoCAD files. Any suggestions would be fantastic, thank you!

Hi, I'm attempting to make an interactive map for a client. I set them up with a free account, and I'd really like to add all the data that I'm working with in ArgPro directly to the content in their account, preferably as a .gdb because there is related tables that will get lost if I do it by individual layer or shapefile. However, when I add a .gdb to the free account, it only shows up in a way where I can only download it. In addition, this is also how layers and shapefiles work. I can't get any of the data to actually show up in a new AGOL map. Basically, nothing is being added as a hosted feature layer. The only work around is if I host the data on my organizational account, but this is not a good work around as it may get deleted at some point. Is there any way to add a hosted feature layer to a free AGOL account, or is my current work around the only way?

Hello, I am a total newbie with Arcade and coding in general, so please bear with me. I am trying to get all display all the information from a FeatureSetByRelationshipName function results. I am trying to follow the following link: How to get attribute with last date modified from related table using Arcade Based on the input from that post, I am able to display one record at a time, because the advice only tells me how to derive results using the "First" function. I attempted to use a For loop, but I'm basically still at the same point. I can only get result at a time. This is my code: var relatedrecords = FeatureSetByRelationshipName($feature,"PDX_Metro_Placement_Reporting_No_TicketHome", ["Reporting_Program_Recode"]);
var cnt = Count(relatedrecords);
var relatedinfo = "";
if (cnt > 0) {
for (var record in relatedrecords) {
relatedinfo = record.Reporting_Program_Recode + TextFormatting.NewLine;
}
}
return relatedinfo; However, if you see the attached image, there is often more than one result for this field. What I want in my pop-up column is each unique value listed once, preferably in alphabetical order. So per the attached image, when you click on the point data for this client, it would say "SSVF - RRH", then a line break, and then "Vets - PSH". Right now I only get SSVF - RRH using the above for loop or using the first function. Can someone please help me out?
