Hi @OsamaOthman, Yes I already tried that (ReturnCountOnly=True + Multiple Output Fields) and it works. But this is not what I wanted, as I need the actual distinct combinations of field values and not just the count of distinct combinations. If you set ReturnCountOnly=False + Multiple Output Fields the query will throw you the respective error. The same is true for trying to use GroupBy with multiple fields.

We are running ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9 and have created a SBDS using the Geoevent Server. When trying to query the layers of the associated Feature Services for distinct records using multiple output fields, we get the following error message (see screenshot in addition): "Return distinct values query is not supported for multiple fields on Elasticsearch, returnGeometry must be false." However, the documentation of the ArcGIS REST API on Query (Feature Service/Layer) states: returnDistinctValues If true, it returns distinct values based on the fields specified in outFields. This parameter applies only if the supportsAdvancedQueries property of the layer is true. This parameter can be used with returnCountOnly to return the count of distinct values of subfields. The returnGeoemetry option was set to "false", and the supportsAdvancedQueries of the FeatureService/layer is "true". From this I would assume that it should be possible to return Distinct Combinations of fields from the feature Service. Am I something missing here, or is this a mistake in the documentation?

Thanks for your help. As you suggested I added a property to the transporter for defining the ClientD (instead of generating one) and managed to succesfully receive a message from our mqtt broker.

Would be great if you could share it. And good to know that this option is not included in the current connector.

We run a verneMQ broker that I want to connect to with the MQTT Input Connector. However, I can't establish a succesful connection. Here the error message from the log: Unexpected error during MQTT receiver initialization. org.eclipse.paho.client.mqttv3.MqttSecurityException: Bad user name or password at org.eclipse.paho.client.mqttv3.internal.ExceptionHelper.createMqttException(ExceptionHelper.java:28) ~[?:?] at org.eclipse.paho.client.mqttv3.internal.ClientState.notifyReceivedAck(ClientState.java:1040) ~[?:?] at org.eclipse.paho.client.mqttv3.internal.CommsReceiver.run(CommsReceiver.java:151) ~[?:?] at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:748) [?:?] I succesfully tested the connection from the Geoevent Server using MQTT explorer with the same credentials, except for adding a clientID. The connector itself was similarly succesfully tested using "test.mosquitto.org" as a broker. Therefore I assume, the unsuccesful login may be caused by the missing clientID. Is there an option available that would allow me to supply a clientID using the Geovent MQTT Connector?

My simplified Geoevent Service looks like this: Using the field calculator, I can add a name field, and thereby create a new geovent gefinition, which I then use in the field mapper to map my data to the output definition. However, if I restart the service, the new geovent definition is initially missing so I can't configure the field mapper, until new data is received from the input. In my real world example, it can take some time until new data is received (consider e.g. a field mapper after an incident detector) and the geoevent gefinition is created, making it impossible to work on the field mapper processor or check if the service is working correctly. Would it be advisable to create a "static" geoevent definition for the field mapper (e.g. a copy of the new defintion when the service is running), or is there a better way to deal with the issue of temporarely existing definitions?
