Hi Joseph, I think I figured it out for the major browsers. But even with these changes, it's still happening in IE11. The changes I made were related to the webmap's json. You can edit the webmap json using AGOL Assistant. There were two edits that I made: 1. I took out all field references in any popup's display field. Sometimes the display field references old fields from the service that are no longer available, and that messes things up. 2. I cleared out all layers that were only defined by just the id. So something like: ... { id: 3 }, ... I took all of them out of the webmap json. After those 2 changes, we don't get the untitled layers in the Layerlist for major browsers (excluding IE11, where it always happens). Hope this helps you

I can. I'd feel more comfortable DMing it to you. I can't seem to figure out how to send a DM on GeoNet to you. Could you shoot me a quick email at cameronsmith@vhb.com, and then I'll send you the link to check out? I would really appreciate the help. Please feel free to respond with any ideas here. Like I said, the behavior is reproducible most consistently in IE11.

Hi, We are experiencing a strange issue with the LayerList Widget from the 4.x api. For a specific MapService, all layers are coming through with the label "Untitled Layer". This happens every time we load our app in IE11, and it happens inconsistently in all other major browsers (ex: for Chrome, it doesn't happen for a while, but then it happens and doesn't go away). The MapService layers are added to the Map as a WebMap. Has anyone ever seen this behavior before with the LayerList? Any suggestions on how to resolve it? Thanks! -Cameron

I just ran into this. You can't clear out the "url" property completely. Instead, just set it to the empty string: Example: "httpProxy": { "useProxy": true, "alwaysUseProxy": false, "rules": [ { "urlPrefix": "...", "proxyUrl": "..." } ], "url": "" }

Couldn't Connect for Survey123 throw up a message, something like, "Can't find the item to update in the Folder of id: ...". I just had this issue and an error message would have been extremely helpful in resolving it, rather than the indefinite spinning wheel happening. Just saying that any kind of error message would be nice.

Hi, I'm having an issue with the Web Form version of a Survey 123 Form I created. I created this Form in Survey123 Connect. I'm using the "GeoShape" field in the Form to allow for the capturing of a polygon. So GeoShape works fine in the Survey123 for ArcGIS phone app. But we also embed the Form in a web application that we have. We use the url like this: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/1cb28b212b5542acbbdbaa35feba0765 and put that in an iframe (this is straight from the embed option on the collaboration page in https://survey123.arcgis.com). So here's the thing, I understand GeoShape is experimental, and I don't actually need it to work in the webform to create polygons. I would like to just hide it, and not make having a polygon be require. I tried to hide the field of type GeoShape using the "hide" query parameter. This worked to hide it in the webform, however when I submit I still get the following error: Is there a way to get around this error for the Web Form? Also, does anyone have any idea when GeoShape will be actually functional in the Web Form? Thanks a lot!

Hi, I am trying to return more than 1000 features on a Sublayer of a MapImageLayer. I know that when querying against Feature Layers, you can use the "num" and "start" properties of the Query object to index thorough the return data across queries. However, when I try to use these two properties when querying a SubLayer of a MapImageLayer, I get the error: "Failed to execute query." Thanks for your help, Cameron

I think your best bet is some math and the update(x, y) method from Point. You have the two points that make the line, from the Polyline Object. You know that y=mx+b, and m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) so you can find the equation for the line. Then you can produce x values, and find the associated y values, and then use the update method to set the point. Low level graphics manipulation is a bit involved. Good luck man

Hi, I am creating an application with arcgis js 4.8 api. I bring in a WebMap into this application, which has a MapImage Layer. This MapImage Layer has multiple sublayers. I need to know the fields that exist in these sublayers, and I also need to know the type of each field (number, string... etc). The sublayer interface is here: Sublayer | API Reference | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.9. I can use the "popupTemplate" in the sublayer and then go into the fieldInfos property of that to get the names of the fields, however that does not have the type information for each field. Does anyone have any idea how to get the type information for each field of a sublayer? Thanks
