Hello, I'm attempting to join a point feature class with another point feature class. Using the Spatial Join tool, I entered "closest" in Match Options and enter a search radius. Hi,  I have two lasd composed of at least 24 las files each. The points display fine in Map but draw extremely slowly in 3D in a Local Scene. Even when it does draw, there are many points missing. I have already tried changing the Display Limit under the Appearance tab. Is there anything else I can do to optimize the drawing so that displays all the points at a reasonable speed? Thank you! ... Hello, I am trying to add Flickr photos and a Youtube video to my Map Tour. I get the following error when I try to save it: “Save failed due to an invalid html tag in a name or description”   I cleared my description, I don’t see any html tag, but I can’t seem to get rid of the error after looking through help articles. Hello,  I'm trying to display a TIN layer in 3D. I have it shown under 2D layers, but am having a hard time making it appear in 3D. I've scene several tutorials online and they seem to indicate that there is a "Elevation" tab in map properties. But, there is no setting in my project. Am I missing something? I've also tried setting my TIN layer as my elevation surface, but the view just loads indefinitely. Help would be appreciated, thank you. ... View more

Hello,  I'm trying to find the area of various polygons in a shapefile using a script cursor. I assume I use "SHAPE@AREA" according to this: Reading geometries—ArcPy Get Started | ArcGIS Desktop  However, I also want to specify the units (acres). Right now, I get a lot of numbers that don't seem to make much sense. It looks like I need the getArea method to specify the units: Polygon—ArcPy classes | ArcGIS Desktop  Basically, I'm wondering, how does the getArea method work? Are there examples of the syntax? Hi,  I created a python script tool that creates a Thiessen Polygons. The tool runs fine. But how do I create it so that it automatically adds a new layer to the map? Hello,  Is it possible to clip a map based on a grid? I want to specify one UTM zone and clip the region, but I can't figure out how to either convert the grid to a feature layer to apply a clip or clip the map extent inside the zone.
