Maybe this can happen if the "shape" field in attribute table is not set for visibility by checkbox. Hope this helps, KR Sandra

We have configured and published a custom locator in ArcGIS Pro (POI role). ArcGIS Pro provides suggestions for search results. See pic attached. Can this function also be used in the Field Maps app? Where can this be configured, thanks.

Hi everybody, as I landed here with the same warning message, I could fix my problem as following: in my case the root cause, why the clip-analysis-tool was not working properly without the message „000117: Warning empty output generated”, seemed to be an entry for "definition query" in the layer properties: I just want to use a subset of my input features. After exporting the desired subset into an extra feature class and using this one as input features the problem was fixed. My working environment: • ArcGIS 10.2 Advanced • Input features: File Geodatabase Feature Class, WGS84 • Clip features: Shape File Feature Class,WGS84 • worked with Python Window • Environmental settings: no extra settings Cheers, Sandra

Hi Vince, I have learnt something, thank you. It's true, I have never read through a forum's netiquette. My practical view on this matter as following: I had asked especially for practical experiences in combining PG9.4 with AsrcSDE10.3 because of the German ESRI Support statement "it should work, but it is not tested". This is why I placed my question here in the forum too, just for checking back. By your answers I understood you do not have it because you refered to ESRI system requirements and did not mention any practical experiences in this special case. Today we have tried the installation with PG9.4 practically for "it should work, but it is not tested". PG9.4 failed, afterwards the SDE setup with PG3.5 ran sucessfully. Then it was clear it does not work with PG9.4. Maybe I was not sufficiently detailed in my final statement. I will try to correct this here according to the "usual mechanism". Thanks again, KR Sandra

Greetings, we intend to set up a new ArcSDE Geodatabase: ArcGIS Server 10.3/SDE enterprise multiuser based on PostgreSQL9.4 with PostGIS 2.1.7. The ESRI Support stated that AGS 10.3 is tested with PostgreSQL9.3, but should also work with 9.4. So I was wondering whether there are users with practical experiences on this issue? Can you confirm that PostgreSQL9.4/PostGIS 2.1.7. works with AGS 10.3/SDE enterprise multiuser? Thanks in advance, KR Sandra

Hi all, recently we have had the problem of rebuilding the spatial index of a feature class storaged in ArcSDE. Various approaches reached us, it worked following SDE command line: sdelayer ??o load_only_io , sdelayer ??o normal_io But I wonder if there is a difference between this sde command above and these toolbox means which ArcGIS offers: Data Management Tools: Indexes:remove spatial index, add spatial index We have got the explanation that with the sde command only the feature class extent of index will be recalculated. Could anybody confirm this? I find the Toolbox help unclear in this case. Otherwise I assume feature class extent and spatial index belong together. You can't rebuild a spatial index without rebuilding the extent of a feature class, can you? Many thanks in advance, Sandra
