Hi there, Wondering if ESRI is supporting full clone of StoryMaps, or if the use of this method is still needed? Thanks so much, Emiko

Hi, I have a user in my org who created a StoryMap back in 2023. At that time she was not able to publish it, and got an error messages: "Sorry, there was a problem publishing your story" and "some content could not be checked for issues." We are trying again (now, in 2025) to publish this StoryMap. As the org admin I have tried publishing her StoryMap, and got the same errors. We are also not able to save any changes or duplicate the StoryMap. I was able to successfully make myself a copy to experiment with using ArcGIS Assistant. Things we have tried on my copy of her StoryMap: -removing all links, maps, and media--these changes did not save -using the "Check Items (beta)" button, no issues found We appreciate any help you might be able to provide. Thank you! Emiko

Wondering if ESRI has made any improvements on this issue? Would be great if we could just create an alias so the back-end username didn't have to change, but the username we see could be different. I'm facing having to change usernames for 30+ org members...

Hi, I would like to use the USA NAIP Imagery layer: Color Infrared Imagery Layer by ESRI as a basemap in Field Maps, however, when I try to set up my field map for offline use, I get the error message: Export tiles not enabled for this layer. Does anyone know if ESRI (or anyone else) publishes a version of this layer for use in offline applications? My study area is in northern CA--I don't need all of the US. Thank you, Tracy

I have the same question; I could not get a straight answer from the customer service folks. I have students using ArcGIS online creator licenses to make StoryMaps. What I heard from customer service is that once they downgrade to a free public account, they "may not" be able to edit their finished StoryMaps. They could not tell me for certain if they would still be viewable. This is important to my students as they will be adding their StoryMaps to resumes. Thanks for any answers...

It looks like AGOL does not support forms for many to many relationships. Has anyone come up with a workaround for ths?

I have experienced this too, when exporting to multiple formats (PDF, JPG, TIFF...). Doesn't happen all the time, so when it does it's a big time suck to adjust! Would love it if I could find out why this happens. Thanks to the community, Emiko

This is exactly what I needed, thank you! I created the custom role so I could allocate a license without sharing all the org data. Then added our collaborator to a group to manage the sharing of specific layers. Thank you for your help!

I am working with a collaborator who has a public ArcGIS online account. I would like to assign him a software license for the duration of our work together, but would prefer not to add him to our organization as I would rather not share all the organization data by default. Is it possible to assign him a license as an external collaborator? Thank you for your input.

Hi there, has S123 added this function yet (showing more than basemaps in offline maps)?

Streaming while collecting data appears to only be supported for lines and polygons. I have a use case for streaming of point features. My current workaround is to use Tracker, but this is an extra license, the tracks are not permanent and must be managed into a new layer, and additional work must be done to share the data from Tracker.

Hi Travis, Thank you so much for your reply! I went with the Tracker solution, which was fast and easy. I was able to get a timestamp for each tracker point, which worked for my colleague's use of the data. I was not able to find a way to stream collection of points directly into my layer, and it appears that this is only supported in Field Maps for lengths and areas. Streaming points would be useful, I hope ESRI can implement that in the future. Thanks for all your help, Emiko
