One difference for admin role users is that they can have access to all feature layer fields, even ones that are not included in the hosted feature layer view that is used by a survey. So maybe double-check that the hosted feature layer view definition includes all necessary fields.

My question1 asks the user to identify the asset id. That works beautifully: autocomplete search("Manhole_IDs?<url>", ‘contains’, ‘MANHOLE_ID’) Then I have a note that needs to display the work order number based on the asset id. It runs the following calculation: pulldata("@layer", "getValue", "attributes.WORKTASK_NUMBER",<url>, "MANHOLE_ID= ${question1}") Is the where clause supposed to allow for inclusion of variables, i.e. values from previous questions? If I hard-code the value in the where clause then the pulldata function returns the correct value. The documentation doesn't clarify if variables are supported, and Esri's Survey123 Connect samples don't show it either.

In my webmap I configure a Form to populate a text field via the GetUser Arcde expression: GetUser(Portal('https://www.arcgis.com')) It correctly populates the field when editing via ArcGIS Field Maps. But it does not do so when accessing the webmap via the AGOL Map Viewer or ExB. The field is left blank. Is that a known limitation of AGOL/ExB, and is there a timeline for when that functionality will be available? Thank you for any advice!

Hi @ColinLawrence , Thank you for that information! I have been researching why my floor-aware webmaps broke in Field Maps after the last update and this is important information. I wish it would have been better communicated by Esri. I really appreciate you taking the time to post it here so we're not left guessing. My follow-up question: My org does not have the Indoors extension but I noticed that if I manually add certain properties (e.g. mapFloorInfo, floorInfo, etc.) to my webmap's json I can still get my Field Maps app to display the floor filter. I don't want to do anything this hacky in a prod. environment and would like to understand if (1)the requirement for the Indoors extension is just a temporary technical limitation because those properties can't be configured through the webmap viewer or some other user interface, or (2)if it truly is a licensing limitation and long-term the Field Maps product roadmap counts on organizations having the Indoors extension to use floor-aware maps. Can you clarify that? Thank you!

Hi Aaron, no I was never able to solve the problem. Esri tech support tried a lot of things...I can't remember if they ever tried deleting and re-creating the indices completely from scratch. After a lot of troubleshooting I concluded that it would be be easier for me to re-build on a new VM than to continue to troubleshoot. Since then I have always made sure that the machine has plenty of resources available because I believe having an under-resourced machine is how I caused the problem in the first place.

Setting the forward label and the backward labels of the geodatabase relationship class to an identical string value that is not <blank>/null resolved the problem.

When I make a Survey from an ArcGIS Server Feature Service (registered with ArcGIS Online) I run into the problem that my data is submitted correctly (I can see the new insert in the Geodatabase) but the Survey123 Field App gets hung up at "Sending Data". This problem only occurs when a repeat section is included (meaning a 1:m related table in the geodatabase). Is this a known bug? Does anybody see the same problem? Does anybody know a likely cause or workaround? I attached the log file in case that gives you any clues.

Upgraded ArcGIS Server from 10.3 to 10.6.1, now getting below errors when attempting sync from Collector app. Data is versioned; DB is Oracle; GDB tested v10.3 and v10.6.1; ArcGIS Server service is registered with credentials stored in item; service is configured to create a version for each User; Have tried some general troubleshooting. Any ideas how to diagnose instead of the trial-and-error approach testing the countless variables that are in play in this setup? Thanks!

Are they publicly available? If they're secured (or in a secured folder) you need to log in to see them. Just a guess...

Hi Paul, I have never actually tried this but it's something I'd like to be able to do, too. I was thinking that in theory once the user is authenticated to AGOL (example code is in "Sign in OAuth2") then any requests to the registered feature service item's REST endpoint would include the user's AGOL identity, and as long as the registered feature service item is shared with a Group to which the user belongs there would be no need to re-enter credentials. Like I said, I never actually tried it but that's how I was going to approach it. -Tobias

Hi Scott, I haven't actually tried this but couldn't you just save five different copies of your webmap in ArcGIS Online (maybe have the name indicate the project area) and then download each of these webmaps in Collector. In the download process you'd download a different extent for each of those webmaps. They could still use the same feature service(s), you'd just download a different extent with each webmap. Not super user-friendly but it may be the best you can do.
