Thank you Xander! That worked! I haven't used that tool for so long I had completely forgotten about it.

32 bit, floating point. It just seems bizarre to me that I was able to do the exact same thing I am currently trying to on the exact same DEM a couple years ago and had no issues.

Hello, I am trying to reclassify a DEM into three classes based on elevation and for some reason, it keeps returning decidedly NOT what I was trying to accomplish. However, when I clip it down, it works fine. At first I thought the problem was just because the DEM is fairly large. I then noticed that under classification statistics the count reads as a negative number. I have never encountered this issue before. I have done something similar with the same DEM a few years ago and didn't have this issue. What is really perplexing to me is that if I clip the raster, no problem. Is there a way I can remedy this issue? Please, any help would be much appreciated! I am currently using ArcGIS Pro but I went back to ArcMap to test this and had the same issue. This is what is returned when I try to reclassify the entire DEM This is what is returned, and what I want, with a clipped portion of the DEM. Prior to reclassifying, I go into symbology and classify the the DEM into three classes, and then from there I use the reclassify tool. Again, any help would be immensely, greatly apprecaited! -Erin

Hi Dan, I see the duplicate post and have no idea how it happened. Thank you for the reply! I did deauthorize and was able to reinstall. I never knew about that in the past and when I was a student I had to ask for another authorization code from my professor. Thanks again for the speedy reply!

Hi Richard, Oh yeah, I've tried to repair several times. I've uninstalled and re-installed Python a handful of times as well. Thanks for the reply, I didn't know to deauthorize prior to reinstall.

I've been having issues with Python and I've tried every work around to fix the issue but have resigned myself to uninstall/reinstall ArcGIS and am wondering if I do so, do I need another authorization code? Thanks! -Erin

Jayanta, Thank you for the speedy reply! I've tried to contact them but they're only available Mon-Fri, 5am-5pm. I've tried completely uninstalling it (going through registry, all temp files, etc...) and I'm still having that issue. I've tried the recommendations from the link you sent (which was pretty interesting, I did not know there were that many processes governing the clock) but to no avail.

So my laptop updated itself to the new Windows 10 Creators package, which I quickly rolled back from. However, ArcGIS thinks that my system clock was set back more than 24hrs. I uninstalled and reinstalled 10.4.1 (I had another code) but it STILL comes up with that error. I don't know what to do. Any help would be immensely appreciated!

FC Basson thanks a thousand for the speedy reply. I eventually used a different dataset that overall took me longer to modify and fix data paths in order to import than it would've to select the features that I needed from the posted .shp. Shantonu Sarkar, thank you for the article reference, that helped. Kelly Gerrow, the connection that I use it not the best. I am painfully green when it comes to AGOL. I do use ArcMap and thank you very much for the workaround info! Cheers, Erin

Hello! I've been trying for quite some time now to import a shapefile and every time it says that it cannot be imported due to an exceeded timeout. I've been able to import files that were larger than this one with no issue. Attached is the zipped file I'm attempting (and failing) to import. Please help me preserve some of my sanity.
