When importing terrain and aerial imagery into city engine there is a limit of 4096*4096 pixels. If the image covers a large area (30 km*30 km) the result resolution is poor. What should I do in order to cover this area? Should I split the image and the terrain into small pieces? would it help? Is there a way to do the split in City Engine, or should I use ArcMap/Pro for that? Is there a best practice for that? Thanks, Yigal

I'm trying to create a model by importing osm data through the wizard. The problem is that in my area of interest buildings have no height information. The default rule creates random heights with very high buildings. How can I control the maximum height of a building inside the CGA rule? thanks, Yigal

When I create a GeoForm and choose that I'll be located automatically - the map is zoomed to the largest zoom level (23?), where I see nothing on the map. I have to zoom out by few levels every time I want to collect another form. How can I control the zoom level of the map that is being opened? Yigal

It was only a small perimeter around the building. Can you share a screenshot of the 3D product? Can you share all the 3D model parameters that you were using? Thanks, Yigal

Hi David After running again the project with your recommendations, I did not get better results. The 3D model is twisted and has a lot of distortions. Regards, Yigal

Hello David, I have used the Draw tool to limit the area. The densification parameter was set to 7*7. I will change it to 9*9 and try once again. Thanks, Yigal

I'm trying to create a 3 d model from a set of 155 images. It is a small construction project. The result is very bad. The resolution is bad and there are a lot of distortions in the 3d model. I attach few screen shots. You can see the flight path, sample photos and sample screen shots of the final 3d model. Can you observe what might be the problem/error? Thanks, Yigal

Since there is a set of styles for ArcGIS Online Vector Tiles Basemaps, is it possible to create and share the same group of styles but with local language support? I know that I can do it by myself, but most of our customers will not do it. Tiled Cache basemaps present labels in dual language (local and english), and only for Topo and Streetmap basemaps. Vector Tiles default basemaps don't have it. Many of our users will not use them because the missing local language. I think it would be a great idea to share the same group of Vector Tiles basemaps, with local language support. That way, our customers would be able to use a wider variety of basemaps. Yigal

We have managed to do this using GpsGate. This product let the browser connect to an external GPS device (USB GPS in our case). Using sample code from GpsGate, we have replaced the 'My Location' widget in WAB for Developers, so whenever we create a new WAB application, it immediately works with the external GPS. The only thing is that while Google Chrome requires working with https to get geolocation, GpsGate works with http (but works ok). Yigal
