We have managed to do this using GpsGate. This product let the browser connect to an external GPS device (USB GPS in our case). Using sample code from GpsGate, we have replaced the 'My Location' widget in WAB for Developers, so whenever we create a new WAB application, it immediately works with the external GPS. The only thing is that while Google Chrome requires working with https to get geolocation, GpsGate works with http (but works ok). Yigal

Is there a way to get Web AppBuilder app run against an external GPS (usb) on a Win7 laptop? The browser can't read the GPS location, while applications like ArcPad can.

I managed to view the file in ArcGIS Earth using this scenario. The problem is that now I could not publish the SPK to my AGOL subscription, and got an error loading the scene layer to the web scene.

Dan, I'm not talking about a service. I'm talking about loading an SPK file from my computer to ArcGIS Earth, which does not work. Loading the SPK to ArcGIS Online was ok. A scene service was created and I was able to load the service to ArcGIS Earth. The data is WGS84. Yigal

Got the new ArcGIS Earth 1.2.1. I'm trying to load 2 SPK files that were create by Bentley's Context Capture (mesh), But I get: 'Unknown error occured'. If I load the same SPK file to ArcGIS Online, everything is OK and I can see the mesh. How can I use these files in ArcGIS Earth? See the attached screen shots. Yigal

Has anyone tried to move layers and web maps from one subscription to another? I'm using https://ago-assistant.esri.com/ to do that, but it is is working only on feature layers. I'm looking for a solution to transfer also Tiled Layers.

I'm looking for a way to perform a height (z value) transformation from one vertical datum to another one. Both vertical datums exist in ArcGIS list. If I define a horizontal coordinate system, then I have a tool to project the data to another horizontal coordinate system, and set the correct datum transformation. I don't see a place to do the same between 2 vertical coordinate systems. Does this funcionality exist in ArcGIS Desktop 10.3.1? Alternatively, can I do it using ArcObjects? Thanks, Yigal

I want to use Trimble R1 GNSS Receiver with the Collector. The problem is that there is no indicator for accuracy under 5 m', so I really can't know what is my accuracy. Is there any estimation on when the "RTX service" will work?

The way I would do it is: 1. Create a mosaic dataset and define the projection as the output projection. 2. Load all your tiles to the mosaic dataset (they will reproject on the fly). 3. Change the display order to match the best display. 4. Edit the footprint layer to define the borders of the output raster dataset. 5. In the mosaic dataset properties - change the property -'Always Clip the Raster to its Footprint' to yes. 6. Export the mosaic to a single raster dataset' or use the Split GP Tool to export the mosaic to several tiles. Good Luck Yigal

I have upgraded the Collector for iOS to 10.3.1. I have a web map with feature services that I need to update. ArcGIS Online basic viewer can edit the features, as wel as the Collector on Android devices. On my iPAD the 'Submit' button is grayed out and I can't submit any record. Any clue??

If a person is out in the field with his device, and without internet connection available. Can he get the offline data from another device, and start collecting offline data as well? This is for Android devices. Thanks, Yigal
