Our state Emergency Management Agency is using Survey123 to gather information and synch with Juvare's WebEOC via WebEOC's ArcGIS plugin. When updating an existing (and formerly functioning) survey, I received the message "The custom feature service is not compatible with this survey (Fields not found in the feature service: 6). Is there a way to find out which fields are not found in the feature service? Since the form and the existing feature service are being compared, could the status display which fields are not found?

Hi Phil! Thank you for your response. The users had just installed it on their phone and they were using 2.6.9. For this survey they are using AGOL. The permission settings have not changed on the survey but it is shared publicly. I've attached a screenshot of the sharing settings as well - everyone can edit anything available. The problems were reported on 7 and 8 for the iPhone. If you have any more questions please let me know and I'll answer them. Thank you!

Yesterday we had a training for our damage assessment app and, quite literally, iPhone users began having problems all at once when uploading photos they had already taken from their iPhone gallery. A user had already completed two training surveys with images from his gallery and he started receiving the Code 400 error on his third survey. After that, other iPhone users started receiving the Code 400 error when accessing photos from their gallery. This started happening around 10:45 yesterday morning - not sure if there was an update or something at that time. Android and computer users do not have a problem. On the apple devices, photos can still taken or added from folders other than the camera gallery - we found a work around of taking screen shots of the photos already taken and then adding the photos from the screenshot folder instead of the gallery folder. Any idea what is causing this? The survey is a public survey and it is training but we have an identical survey to it which is the real world survey. We are currently in the middle of a disaster and performing damage assessments daily - any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is an edited template I just created - it has not worked at all. In the past I've made reports for different surveys and they've worked but this one has not worked from the get-go. I appreciate the help, thank you!!

Hello! I'm working with the custom reports within the data tab of Survey123. I've downloaded the default template (attached) and tailored it to be report specific (also attached). Users can complete one of three damage assessments within the survey meaning two thirds of the input fields are not used within the report - thus a tailored report for that specific assessment. While tailoring the fields and appearance I haven't changed or messed with the field names. However, now when I go to print a report I receive an error stating "get errors when rendering the template" (image attached). The default survey will give a printout but the one I've edited will not. Any ideas? Our survey uses many different groups but no repeats. I'd appreciate any and all feedback, thank you!! Emily

James, Attached is a zipped file for the NWS Survey. I'm not completely sure by what you mean for criteria but in essence they want the wind speed range to be reflective of the upper bound and lower bound value for the damage indicator and description of damage combination. The wind speed values that correspond to that combo are within the media folder in a CSV. Thank you again for your help!

Hi James, Thank you for your response! What information can I provide to you? If it would be easier I can post the zipped survey file to let you see the information being pulled and the choice selection criteria. I'm in the process of contacting the person who configured and coded their DAT to see what coding they used on the slider bar but I'm not sure if it was XLS forms or something else. Thank you for your constant help, I appreciate it!

Awlright. This is going to be a longer post. I'm putting together a survey for the National Weather Service to replace their Damage Assessment Tool (DAT) which still feeds to a flex viewer. For the most part the survey is complete - it has every question the DAT had as well as new questions for additional hazard types i.e. flooding. The ONE thing I cannot transfer over from the DAT is the custom selection slider bar that lets them pick the estimated wind speed based on input for two other variables - a damage indicator and subsequent description of damages . Based on the combination of these two variables an estimated wind speed range is calculated that could have caused the damages. In the DAT, this specific range spread populated the beginning and end points of a slider bar which the person completing the survey could then click and slide to a specific wind speed they thought was responsible for damages. I don't know how to replicate this within XLS forms and Survey123. As the survey is, I've done a cascading select to allow them to select one of their 28 damage indicators. They are then allowed to select a corresponding description of damages. The following three values are reflective of a CSV pull. The lower bound of wind speeds that could have caused the damages, the expected value, and the upper bound. The user is then prompted to select the EF scale of the tornado and then they are prompted to manually enter the wind speed they think caused the damages. Every component of the DAT is within the Survey123 survey. However, instead of the slider bar they manually enter the wind speed. They want the slider bar and within Survey123 that is not available (yet?). Would it be possible to somehow code a likert scale question so they can select a value within a custom wind speed range (that changes based on 28 damage indicators and roughly 10 description of damages per indicator...)??? They really want their slider bar but I don't know how to give it to them. Any input or other suggestions? I'd really appreciate the help!! This slider bar is going to be the bane of my mapping existence.

Is it possible to zoom in while taking photos from within Survey123? We're working on an incident reporting tool for the Civil Air Patrol and as they're flying while taking photos they're not close to the target and need to zoom in. It's something they (and we) want but I don't believe this is currently supported - or is it something on the XLS side I need to code? I'd appreciate any feedback, thank you!!

Is there a fix or solution to attaching photos from the photo gallery on an android device? I found this question already although the answer implied device specific issues (https://community.esri.com/message/720185-re-image-selection-in-survey123-app?commentID=720185#comment-720185 ). I've seen this on multiple android devices - the application pulls from a folder that is not the DCIM and after diligently searching through folders to find the DCIM, the camera gallery images are in reverse chronological order. Is there a fix for this or recommended course of action? I'd appreciate any feedback, thanks!!

Is it possible to manually enter coordinates using the DMS format within the map? The settings for the survey are set to DMS and the coordinates in the bottom left corner of the map display in DMS when viewing the map. However, when you select them to manually change the coordinates, the format reverts back to DD. Is this a bug or does Survey123 not yet support entering coordinates in DMS? I'd appreciate any feedback, thanks!
