I recently joined a new organization. our usernames are our email with added letters at the end. Within days of publishing my first public featureservice I got started getting spam. I get that this is my organizations problem because of how we set up our users. I have a real problem when an Esri partner is doing this. Mind you I cannot PROVE definitively this is how they got my email address, but there is no where else they could have gotten it. I have attended no conferences or webinars using my email. Does Esri do anything about partners behaving this way?

I have not done a report like this. I have done a webmap/dashboard where all the historic inspections are available and summarized as pie charts on the map. I know this isn't the answer you were asking for. Just an idea.

This detail data is horrible for rendering and such. I don't think there is a better way to store it and disk space is relatively cheap. I have been considering making vector tiles to improve rendering speeds, especially on web and mobile, but have not gotten around to testing it. I am curious to see what others have to say.

I don't do this with FME. I use activeG Nash for this. You can also use the JSON mapping in Maximo to make this happen but that is challenging to get it to return the value.

In Survey123 in AGOL I can create a link that will allow a user to look at a specific survey in the surveys format. The link looks like this: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/thisIsARubbishid?mode=view&globalId={RubbishGlobalID} I want to do the same thing for something in portal. I have a URL that looks like this but it brings up a blank Survey to fill out. https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/thisIsARubbishid?mode=view&globalId={RubbishGlobalID}&portalUrl=https://gis.MYURL.com/portal I think I am dang close and either this is not supported or I have to tweak my URL. Thanks in advance!

It only consumes a feature service. It is a webmap in a Maximo window.

Maximo integrations are through the esri rest API. Maximo spatial requires a feature service. Other integrations do not. The biggest headache for Maximo spatial is the sync. So much time is spent on sync there is usually a lack of spatial tools/workflows built and the integration usually is not adopted widely. Feel free to ask more specific questions as you get into this.

I have been doing this for a while now using python scripts. We are finding lots of value in the offline capabilities of Survey123 and Collector for non critical inspections and problem reports. The geoevent server and python scripts are complex because you have to learn the Maximo REST API (doable, but complex) and it is nowhere as friendly as the enterprise REST. To simplify this My coworkers built a flow based modeler to move data between systems.

Try saving back to autocad 2000. That is pre civil3d and it usually explodes everything.

In civil3d try turning proxygraphics to a 1 in the command line then save. You should see the file size get absolutely huge. That will be autocad storing all the contours as polylines instead of calculating them from the surface stored in the file. If that doesn't work it is likely that the surface is a reference. If that is the case in the command line open the properties box by typing mo, select the contours/surface and run explode in the command line. Select again and it should be a block in the properties window. Explode until you select a polyline. Save and open in arc map. The other issue you might be having is civil/survey guys love to work in meaningless coordinate systems when it comes to GIS. If that is the case you will want to get with the project surveyor to get scale and rotation information. Hope this helps.

Yes but it may take some work to fine tune how you do this to get the data out in the best format. first challenge is georefferencing. Then you may have to export as a dxf to simplify new more complicated objects in AutoCAD. Or just have to save the file in AutoCAD with the proxigraphics setting set to 1 to simplify the new advanced objects to GIS compatible. Once you have the file in GIS it is a matter of filtering out the objects that are not meaningful to your final goal. I am in the middle of automating a BIM conversion from a CAD-like program. Best of luck.
