Very good blog post, but, the Edit solutions in WebAppBuilder works for online hosted services only. I have a feature service that is hosted on our instance of ArcGIS for Server and then Added as an item to our Org Site, but the same functionality does not work. I am able to edit existing related records, but the Add + button does not work on the Edit widget for my related tables hosted internally and shared with the Org site. Does ESRI have any plans to make sure the same functionality works with internally hosted services? This seems to be something that should have already been implemented in the Edit Widget tool.

Thanks for the reply, Patricia. I ended up doing the same thing you did, assign the attachments to the poles instead.

Okay, so I have set up a 3 level deep relates between a poles feature class, a signs table, and an attachment from the signs table. I have the relationship using GlobalID>PoleID(GUID) from Poles to Signs table, but then I also have created an attachments relationship from the Signs table to the Signs__ATTACH table. I noticed when publishing the feature service of my map to our ArcGIS Server, there are two services (Feature & Map), yet the Signs__ATTACHID only shows up under the Map service and not the Feature service. Next, I added item for the feature service to our AGOL site in order to create the webmap for field collection using Collector. The WebMap is all set up and shows only the Poles features and Signs table. When I went out into the field to collect poles and associated signs, even though the attachment paper clip icon showed up on my signs table window, I took a picture, but was unable to save it to the associated sign. My question is, what am I doing wrong, and could it possibly be that attachments cannot be related to a table within Collector? Of course, Esri provides no documentation on any of these types of issues, so I have to turn here for answers. Please help if able.

I was able to resolve the issue with tech support and my secured services are now working as an added item to AGOL with stored credentials. Thanks for the inquiry. Mike

Has anyone resolved this issue at Esri? I just came up with the same problem. Works in iOS, but not android. This needs to be resolved by Esri in my opinion. I am trying to use Collector on Android version 6.0.1. and was able to login to the REST endpoint and see the service just fine. Something in the Collector app is not seeing the secured service. Please respond.

Since the AWS snafu yesterday, now our ArcGIS online org account is significantly slower than before. We had our site configured with ADFS and now I can't even get to the login page to select the method of login. Anyone else experiencing issues with AGOL?

What about a solution for working disconnected and being able to run the trace? This needs to be a priority as most small utilities do not have connectivity to web services. Please come up with a solution where the trace geoprocessing tool is download when the map is downloaded via Collector for ArcGIS. This is a perfect platform for allowing field users to run geoprocesses locally on their mobile devices and not be limited to internet connectivity.

So I have a Local Government Model schema SDE geodatabase and every time I try to use the "Create Role" data management tool, I get an Underlying DBMS error. The geodatabase is stored in SQL Server 2008 R2 SP 3. I've attached the error message to this thread. Someone please tell me why this is happening. I don't want to have to use SQL Management Studio to add roles to DBs, but I will if ESRI's tool doesn't work. Please help.

I cannot find the old state highway shields that used to be available on arcscripts, but is no longer there on this new BETA version of Arcscripts. Does anyone know where I can find the highway shields for Florida to use as a marker symbol?

It all depends on where you are needing imagery. I've seen areas where Google is better than Bing. Also depends on what you're using it for in ArcGIS. As for me, I am having to digitize in building outlines from the imagery, and I've found Google has provided the most current building structures on their imagery as opposed to Bing and ESRI imagery. Again, it all depends on where you are and what you're doing with it.
