Yes it is still happening. We are at 10.9.1 and I believe we have to be at 11+ for the error not to occur. Folks can still create their own offline map but we can't use the functionality of pre creating offline maps.

We have our portal setup with Azure SSO for users to authenticate into the Portal. Currently Azure enables a user's group membership to be sent in the sign on packet. We would like to be able to have users automatically added and removed from Azure AD Groups that have been created in Portal (via the "Being a Member of a SAML Group Option"). The SAML groups option does not identify Azure based user group membership. We would also like Azure Group searchability which is currently implemented for on premise windows domains, but not Azure, through the identify provider setting in Portal Admin. This would unify the portal home capabilities with the portal admin capabilities.

Thanks, I did figure that out but the problem is that even when someone syncs their changes for some reason the replica stays. I tested it. I'm afraid that I might screw up someone's offline edits if I do this.

I've embedded a non federated, secure REST within our AGO. I've stored the a password within AGO. It works fine. The only issue is when we try to create a offline map area. It will fail just on the secured REST. If it is embedded but not secure (public) it packages fine. I have ESRI looking into the issue but thought maybe someone has encountered. Here is the error we get on the backend. What seems to be happening is that the username and password stored in AGO is not being passed in order to open the REST and package it. I have ESRI working on the issues but thought I would throw it out here and see if anyone else has encountered it. Thanks in advance I've replace our URL with .... and xxx's 🙂 ************************************************************************************************************* { "paramName": "packages", "dataType": "GPString", "value": [ { "source": "https://utility.arcgis.com/usrsvcs/servers/......................./rest/services/............................./FeatureServer", "error": "{\"code\": 32, \"messageCode\": \"OffPkg_ 32\", \"message\": \"Replica job https://.............../FeatureServer/jobs/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx encountered error {\\\"code\\\": 498, \\\"message\\\": \\\"Invalid Token\\\", \\\"details\\\": []}\", \"params\": {\"url\": \"https://......................./FeatureServer/jobs/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\", \"error\": \"{\\\"code\\\": 498, \\\"message\\\": \\\"Invalid Token\\\", \\\"details\\\": []}\"}}" }, { "source": "https://services.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/Elevation/World_Hillshade/MapServer", "itemId": "71f53c4650704033a46dca305305b504", "state": "new" }, { "source": "https://basemaps.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World_Basemap_v2/VectorTileServer", "itemId": "3a294d44da914bfb81a9be20890e0202", "state": "new" } ] }

I would be a nice feature to be able to pre-symbolize values in a HFL which are not present yet in the layer. For example we map showing fire cleanup progress and we release the map to our users before clean up is completed. It would be nice to pre create symbology for the completed phase before any values actually exist.

Ability to updated Metadata on a Map, Image or HFL map server or feature layer within portal or AGOL. Currently you have to manually Overwrite. This is not a practical solution and overwriting the service will not update the metadata. An ability to do this through python or REST API would be great.

I need to display a hosted feature layer's attribute table in an Open Data site (ArcGIS Hub). Can someone please tell me the best way to do this? To explain, we are displaying a road closures map, and beneath the map, we want to display a list of the road closures that are shown on the map - hence, the need to display the hosted feature layer's attribute table. Here's the site, so far: http://roadclosures-sonomamap.opendata.arcgis.com/ Here's what I have discovered so far: I have tried using the FeatureTable dijit (Javascript from the ArcGIS API for Javascript) Embedding this code in an open data site doesn't work, for some reason. The site builder seems to recognize it, but then it doesn't render it. The only way I can get it to display in an open data site is by using the iframe widget. This requires me to host the Javascript on an external html file on our local server. This solution is ultimately not going to work for my organization's needs. I have also discovered that the column ordering property the FeatureTable dijit function doesn't work. When you re-order the array that lists the column order, the columns are supposed to re-order. But they don't. (I have already shown this to ESRI's SDK Team, and they are looking into it). Any further input would be greatly appreciated ... Thank you! Lee

Two main things I need to do that I'm having trouble with: (1) On most of our public-facing sites, I need to make the 'Sign In' link go away, as well as the entire row it occupies (2) I also would like the option to keep the sign in link (user dropdown menu, when logged in), but move it up into the custom header we create. It doesn't need it's entire own row. (See example site: County of Sonoma - County Road System)

Great news! Do you know when? I am having a similar issue as the above users. Essentially, our entire hub site development effort is being held up because I can't figure out how to get the header to conform to my organization's web design standards. This is very frustrating, because with all the power of these sites, the lack of header customization is essentially a deal-breaker.
