Would like the ability to update the Data Source URL of a item stored with credentials in AGO.  At this point the only way around this is to delete the item, create a new item with the new URL and store credentials. We recently upgraded from Enterprise 10.9.1 to11.3. Prior to that we had editable SDE, sync enabled layers in our SDE database as REST endpoints on our Stand Alone ArcGIS Server and added to our AGO.    This system had been working for several years and folks were going offline in Field Maps and editing directly into our database. After the upgrade in late November they stopped working.  We could no longer sync our offline edits into SDE.  (We are not federated with AGO, these are RESTs just added to AGO. They are secured with the password embedded). We've been working with ESRI to resolve the issue with no success.  We can download the map without any issues. We even tried to pre-create an offline map and the same error. Once we edit offline and go to sync we get the following error message. JSON parser invalid start of JSON. < : 0 We look at the log files on the stand alone ArcGIS Server and there are no entries showing any attempt to sync back. Has anyone else had similar issues? I realize most folks use hosted feature layers in AGO but they cost credit and this process has saved us a lot of credits.   Another note we can add to the map and we have even downloaded the file geodatabase from our devices and features have been added. We have our portal setup with Azure SSO for users to authenticate into the Portal.  Currently Azure enables a user's group membership to be sent in the sign on packet. We would like to be able to have users automatically added and removed from Azure AD Groups that have been created in Portal (via the "Being a Member of a SAML Group Option").  The SAML groups option does not identify Azure based user group membership.  We would also like Azure Group searchability which is currently implemented for on premise windows domains, but not Azure, through the identify provider setting in Portal Admin. I've embedded a non federated, secure REST within our AGO.  I've stored the a password within AGO.  It works fine. The only issue is when we try to create a offline map area.  It will fail just on the secured REST. If it is embedded but not secure (public) it packages fine.  I have ESRI looking into the issue but thought maybe someone has encountered.  Here is the error we get on the backend. What seems to be happening is that the username and password stored in AGO is not being passed in order to open the REST and package it. I have ESRI working on the issues but thought I would throw it out here and see if anyone else has encountered it. I would be a nice feature to be able to pre-symbolize values in a HFL which are not present yet in the layer.  For example we map showing fire cleanup progress and we release the map to our users before clean up is completed. It would be nice to pre create symbology for the completed phase before any values actually exist. ... View more

Ability to updated Metadata on a Map, Image or HFL map server or feature layer within portal or AGOL. Currently you have to manually Overwrite. This is not a practical solution and overwriting the service will not update the metadata.  An ability to do this through python or REST API would be great. ... View more
