Hi All, I am in the process of creating an application using quick report and noticed that when I skip the "AddPhotoPage", it will not submit my report. Is there a way to skip the AddPhotoPage altogether? If so, what is the process to skip this page? Hi All, I am currently redesigning a quick report application with a feature layer that does not contain any questions/data and does not require attachments. Therefore, there is no need to display the pick type, add details, or summary pages. The only pages I'm currently displaying are the Landing Page and the Refine Location Page. Has anyone tried to do this? If so, what did you find to be the best way of customizing? It seems that the submit button on the SummaryPage is tied to attributes, so I'm also curious to see if anyone has successfully moved the submit button to other pages. @ErwinSoekianto @Anonymous User Thank you, Dustin

Hi @ErwinSoekianto. Thanks for sending the debug tool. I guess to boil everything down, I’m looking for the best way to correctly move the submit button to another page. If you could provide the basic framework, or an example/sample, I think I could do the problem-solving from there. Thanks so much for all of your help with this.

Hi @ErwinSoekianto, I watched the video you sent. The problem is that I'm not getting an AppStudio error, just an error on the feature service side when I try to submit my point. I sent you an e-mail with my project code so you can take a look at what I have done in more detail. Please let me know if you have any advice for how I can fix my code to make the submit button work properly. I am unsure if I've not connected something correctly, or if it is my feature service. Let me know what you see once you have been able to take a look at my code. Thanks!

Hi @ErwinSoekianto, Yes, I was the one who customized the original application. I was basing my original code off of the structure in the AddDetailsPage in a 4.X version of AppStudio (I can't remember which specific build at the moment). The out of the box version was confirmed to be working, but then broke once I placed the submit button on the RefineLocationPage. Specifically, I copied and pasted the submitBtn code from the AddDetailsPage to the RefineLocationPage and then replaced the "next" message within the OnClicked function to refer to the processInput function (i.e. processInput();) (see screen shots 1 & 2 above). I then placed a next message ("next("submit")") at the bottom of the processInput function. This is what was previously working for me, but now makes the submit button fail. I have attached a screen shot of the error message once the submit button is clicked. Please advise. Thank you.

UPDATE: @ErwinSoekianto and @Anonymous User The release of Quick Report 5.1 has broken this code structure. I tried to update the app I created (iSeaTurtle) to quick report 5.1 using the above code structure and am getting an error upon clicking the submit button. Can you please suggest an alternative to correct this issue and have the submit button work correctly when placed on the RefineLocationPage? I have added screenshots of my modified code from the quick report 5.1 for your convenience. Let me know if you would like any other resources to help solve this issue.

Hi Survey123 Community, I recently created a new survey in the Survey123 Connect app (ver. 3.12) and have disabled the sent folder, instead opting for the Inbox so I can use the map refresh feature. However, when I send data from my form, I notice that the sent surveys show as blank in my inbox. Is this a bug? or is this a problem with my share settings? No data are saved after I hit the send button. Please see the attached screenshot. Note I have set the Instance_Name setting to display the patient ID, which is blank upon submission, even though an ID was entered when filling out the form. Thank you, Dustin @JamesTedrick

Hi Community, I am trying to embed a phone number within the text of the Disclaimer Page (aka Access use and Constraints text box). I have located the licenseInfo text that the disclaimer page is reading and noticed it is html. I have added my custom text and have inserted <a href="tel:5556667777">555-666-7777</a> inside of the HTML code (see full example below. "licenseInfo": "<html><head><meta name=\"qrichtext\" content=\"1\" /></head><body style=\" font-family:'Avenir Next LT Pro'; font-size:14.5pt; font-weight:400; font-style:normal;\">\n<p style=\" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;\">Please contact 1-866-testing (<a href="tel:8665557777">866-555-7777</a>)if you know the name of this song.</p></body></html>", However, the app crashes when I go to click on the link. What is the problem with this code? This should be how this works for HTML code. Thank you, Dustin

Hi Community, I received a request today to completely disable the splash screen that loads before taking the user to the Survey123 form I created. After some Google searching, I determined that this was not possible because every app needs to have a splash screen (as stated in this question: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-appstudio-questions/how-to-disable-the-default-launch-image/td-p/797250). However, this information was from 2017. Is this still accurate? If not, how would you disable to the splash screen from loading when the user clicks the application? Hi Developer Community, I had previously posted here about converting QML to Java, and am still willing to hear some suggestions, but I think the better question may be how to implement feature layer information into a previously coded Java Android application. If we have a screen with a handful of fields, is there a method of associating each field with a particular field within a feature layer? Thank you, Dustin

Hi Developer Community, I have developed an Android application using Esri's Survey123 for Desktop and AppStudio for ArcGIS Desktop software and am needing to convert the QML code generated in AppStudio to Java in order to join this app with a separate part of the project. Our Java developer had previously designed some tweaks to our application that we would like to implement into our Survey123 form, but we will need to convert the native QML code to Java in order to achieve this goal. Has anyone had any experience doing this? I have already consulted with the AppStudio and Survey123 teams, but they were unaware of any efficient method of accomplishing this. Please let me know if anyone has any advice. It would be much appreciated. Thank you, Dustin

Hi @ErwinSoekianto, The feature layer can be accessed using the following link: https://services1.arcgis.com/JXBurs0uwQlwOiHt/arcgis/rest/services/Nesting_Test/FeatureServer Turtle Gender is the field where the default is located and should be set to "Female".
