Stuart, I am now at a new job and I'm trying to get GeoRAS to run so I can show my boss its benifits. I am running ArcGIS 9.3 (Build 1850) which is an evaluation edition. I have tried to install HEC-GeoRAS 4.3.93 which installs WaterUtilities Apllicaiton Framework (ApFramwork) 3.1.0.103. Part of the application works but other parts do not. I can't seem to import my resutls. I'm thinking that this has to do with the version of HEC-GeoRAS and ApFramwork I am using. Could you provide any insight? Here is the error I am getting: System.NotImplementedException: The method or operation is not implemented. at ESRI.ArcGIS.Geodatabase.IFeatureClass.get_AliasName() at HECGeoRAS.MiscUtil.ApplySymbology2RASResultLayers(Int32 numDesiredClasses, String sVelocityField, String sIceField, Int32 iVelocityMarkerSize, Int32 iIceMarkerSize, IMap pMap, IMxDocument pMxDoc)

What is the best way to take a surface from Civil 3D 2011 and bring it into Arcview? I have tried saving the TIN triangles as 3D polyines and adding them to Arcview as a CAD group layer but I can't use them to make a surface. I also tried exporting the 3D tin lines from Civil3D into a shape file but the lines do not appear to be 3d...any help would be appreciated.

Stuart. I unloaded everthing with REVO. Deleted the registry items. Checked to see if ESRI\Waterutils was there and it was not. I also deleted the program files\HEC\HEC-GeoHMS folder. I then installed GeoHMS v5.0.0.69 and then started ArcMAP. I added the Archydro tool box and then went to tools>cutomize and got the attached popup. There is no main view toolbar so I can't generate a project. I will now uninstall, clean and try installing GeoHMS 4.2.93.51. Thoughout all of this I have not tried to insatll GeoRAS. Thank god I quit my job and I only have to suffer with this for a few more days. Althogh I don't want to leave my firm with this issue unresolved.

Stuart, I uninstalling all versions of everything. I did not insatll GeoRAS. I installed GeoHMS v5.0.0.69. When I open ArcMAP the GeoHMS Main View Toolbar can't be found. When I go to Tools>Customize the only option is to add a HEC-GeoRAS toolbar, there are not two choices like there used to be. Thus I can only process all my layers I cannot create a HMS project. I uninstalled all again and then I reinstalled GeoHMS 4.2.93.51. I am still getting the same error. I'm on Windows XP service pack 2. Chris

Stuart, I reinstalled per your last instructions and geoRAS has been working for the last few days. I just went to do a demo of GeoHMS for Coworker, using the American River example project, and when I go to generat project I am getting the attached error message. Any ideas? Chris
