I was reading today on this platform about how ESRI is able to "....help our customers develop sustainable practices—and help us improve our own".... 3 specific areas were discussed: a) Habitat preservation; b) Commitment to community; and c) Building a better world, together.
I suggest you knock on United Nations doors in your country. "... the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals". Its Data Alliance is fighting poverty and improving lives globally, including in your country.

The Green Project Balochistan is our effort to use GIS for real impact - groundwater, watershed management, plantation, and coastal planning across 5 districts of Balochistan: Quetta, Gwadar, Zhob, Loralai and Qilla Saifullah.
I really appreciate your guidance to connect with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Data Alliance. It aligns perfectly with our goals and I will reach out to the UN office in Pakistan.

NO worries @BaratKhan Achieving the goal of a Green Balochistan will require schools, students and their teachers working together to make it happen. Gwadar is a place where lots of money is building up infrastructure, and so lots of possibilities exist.

@EzraCheruiyot Amazing how many great projects around the globe are in need of boosts to move them forward faster. Your experience with water management and mapping came to mind as I recalled flying from Nairobi to Karachi in 1977. I wonder whether you might be able to respond to the questioned posed by Mr. Khan???
@MichelleMathias Democratic institutions, the principles of international humanitarian laws and human rights are being tested. Students are collaborating on research using GIS software and tools. The most important thing is collaborating with local communities. Can we talk about how to help students find inroads for involvement in meaningful development research? GPB is currently focusing on Groundwater Monitoring and Watershed Management in Balochistan through our "Learning and Earning" initiative. Our youth are being trained on ArcGIS to map plantation sites and water resources for a greener Balochistan.
@EzraCheruiyot Sir , we would be honored to receive your guidance on water management and mapping best practices for arid regions like Balochistan.
Your mentorship will be instrumental in helping us scale GPB across Quetta, Zhob, Loralai, Qila Saifullah, and Gwadar.

In Balochistan we are applying the same approach through Green Project Balochistan. Our GIS students are working directly with local communities on plantation and water management.
This "Learning and Earning" model is helping turn GIS skills into real action for SDGs.
