Create default overlay for thumbnails

It would be great if we could create a default overlay for items in ArcGIS Online and Enterprise. The overlay would consist of an organization logo, and a bar that would say the item type (WebMap, Feature Service, etc).

Once a default overlay is created, it would automatically be applied to all items in the organization. This is key as we start collaborating with our municipal partners as it will make identifying the data source much easier for all users in the collaboration

Hi Brendan, thanks for the post. If you're looking to standardize thumbnails, I believe GEO Jobe Admin Tools has functionality for that.

You mentioned you want to use this overlay to identify the data source in a collaboration. We have plans to expose a filter for collaboration so users can filter content by origin (Enterprise portal A, Enterprise portal B, etc). Would that help for your use case? You could also include the source in the item details so that is carried over, but is it specifically the thumbnail where you need this info?
