Current templates restrict future users based on how the template was built, and it would be helpful if Web AppBuilder templates could be more of a "jumping off point" for users within the organization to build applications with a similar base.  Current templates restrict app development, which may be useful in cases, but in other cases a template is desired more for convenience and efficiency rather than compliance restrictions.
