Hi,
This is a great resource that I've only just discovered so have just added to my bookmarks.
I was just wondering if there are any hints and tips on documenting applications built in ExB? We're beginning to build some fairly complicated apps with lots of widgets and interactions and it can be difficult keeping track of how everything interacts within the app. Does the team have any advice on how this can be managed?
It would be great if ExB allowed the ability to add notes to each widget so you could document why you've configured it in a particular way. This is especially important when trying to update or fix issues in an application developed by a colleague. A tool to show all the interactions within your app, maybe as a flow chart, would also be extremely useful.
I'd also be interested in how the team go about creating versions of their apps. It can be tricky making back ups and new versions when the app relies on maps and data that may also need to be versioned.
My background is in consultancy rather than development so any advice for someone straying into light developer territory would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Anthony
