The Airport GIS infographic represents how airports can extend the reach of their survey data collected for their A-GIS through Esri’s Aeronautical Solution and ArcGIS Online.  Airports are not only complying to FAA standards, but with the right platform, they can use the data to build a full scale GIS that can be utilized across airport departments, among their travelers, and for their surrounding community. Click on the infographic to enlarge.  NextGen is requiring a more robust, integrated, and accurate data set called A-GIS so that the FAA can manage spatial data required to support their aviation activities.  But as an Airport, you can use that same data in other applications used in the daily operations of your organization.
