I operate a legacy version of ArcGIS 9.3.1 and have permanent licenses for several extensions (ArcView, 3d analyst, Spatial Analyst, and geostatistical analyst). On May 12th 2018 these extensions were working. Why do they no longer work?
Hi, I was wondering, just out of curiosity, if it was possible to import animations that are created in other 3D applications like Microstation into ArcPro or any of the other GIS Applications. The reason being is that I am working on a project in Microstation and I there are animations that I would like to import into ArcPro or any of the…(Show moreShow less)
I have some wonderful 2' contours for a section of Atlanta where I'm working on a design project, and I have used these to create a TIN. I would like to export this TIN to Sketchup or Rhino for use with our design, but despite many attempts with different methods, I have failed. Thanks to the benevolence of Georgia taxpayers, I have access to…(Show moreShow less)
Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to create attachments/related tables to features imported into City Engine. The reason I am asking is because I have a 3D model in Microstation that I can import into CityEngine and I can still view the model as well as add additional attributes to features in the model. So I am just curious to see if I…(Show moreShow less)
I successfully created tiled DSMs using the LAS Dataset to Tiled Rasters in ArcMap (incidentally, I couldn't get this tool to run in Pro due to a strange syntax error). However, when I tried to create tiled intensity images using the same LAS Dataset, I get Error 000800: The value is not a member of FLOAT | INT. Unlike in the LAS Dataset to…(Show moreShow less)
We have a slpk file directly generate by Context Capture from oblique photographic images. We publish a service and view it online in SceneViewer. It doesn't have any geometry at root(level 1) and level 2 nodes. Although we believe this would be a Context Capture problem, but also something we want to ask here. On my own computer, with a 1080P…(Show moreShow less)
Hi Karl, A few thoughts: I think we should get the Esri China case escalated to Esri here in the US. Can you request your analyst in Esri China to do that? That will help us if we need to log a bug, get development involved in the investigation, etc. Would you be able to provide a small sample of data (through the case, ideally)? Even though…

Hi All. I have a 3D model in ArcGIS Pro and would like to link it to a SQL view file. When I link it to the view file and add it to the Scene layer in pro it returns only 2D, but the 3D model shows fine if its not linked. I would like to link multiple tables to the 3D model to do symbolize on. Any ideas how to do this. Use SQL 2014…(Show moreShow less)
I export a shapefile to sketchup by using the multipatch to collada tool and I obtain a single collada file for each feature of the shapefile. Is there any way of obtaining a single collada file containing all the features of the multipatch layer? Thanks in advance
Any news about this issue? . I'm working with some census data and there are thousands of separate collada object that would be nice to export just as one object. Or anybody knows a software that can merge 3d files?. I've tried meshlab, they import well but all of them in the center of the 3d space.
