We would like to give the user of the Quick Capture app a message when moving near an object. Functionality identical to geofence in the Field Maps solution would be perfect (https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/field-maps/field-mobility/get-started-with-geofences-in-ar...)!!

Great idea. A location alert when getting within a configurable distance to a point would be idea for our workflows

We would also like the geofence capabilities included in quick capture...we would like to use them to automatically turn on and off Location Sharing as we do in Field Maps.

I would like to use geofence to populate options for data collection in Quick Capture based on proximity. For example, the closest asset within a given proximity to the user's current location would be provided as an option [displayed as a single button with the asset ID] to collect data for.

@iHack Geofencing to populate options would be a game changer. We have a situation where mobile workers are creating data for assets in the wrong place for the wrong asset type. This leads to huge quality control issue. After trying Field maps they determined it as too slow and much preferred the rapid fire nature of  QuickCapture. If  QuickCapture had a location user input as an option that can be set as required, and configure this inside buttons to pull a UID it would revolutionise data capture.  Even better, if this can be controlled by a common attribute, so only the button(s) activate that corresponds to the type of asset they are closet to.
