Define a Project Area in QuickCapture and Constrain Data Collection to the Project Area

We have several users collecting the location of their field workers as a lines.  However, field workers sometimes forget to turn the tracking off in QuickCapture at the end of the day and their route to their home is collected.  I propose that a project area can be defined and data is not collected while the user is outside of the area.

1. In the project settings, add the ability to add a map constraint.  Either by drawing a polygon or setting from a polygon feature layer.

2. For each question, add a setting to ask if you want to constrain to the project area, in case there are some data you want to collect outside the project area.

3. If a user tries to collect data outside this area, it will alert the user that they are outside of the project area.

4. If they are tracking a line and they leave the area, stop collecting data and alert the user telling them they will need to start tracking again if they return to the area
