Issue with Feature Layer Feature Reduction and Highlighting

I am facing an issue with feature layer feature reduction and highlighting in my ArcGIS application. I have implemented feature reduction on my feature layer. However, I've noticed that the highlighting functionality becomes inconsistent or doesn't work as expected.

Specifically, the highlight is sometimes lost when I move the map view or zoom in/out. It seems that the reduced features are affecting the highlighting behaviour.

Any insights, workarounds, or best practices to ensure consistent highlighting of features even when feature reduction is applied would be greatly appreciated.

Noticing this problem as well. Is there any sort of property / event we can watch that triggers whenever the feature reduction does its work? May be able to handle the highlighted feature ourselves in that case.
